Black Clover is one of those anime which gives every character as much development as possible. Each character gets better, somehow even Asta becomes less annoying as you keep watching. If Asta can get better anyone can. Just keep watching, Black Clover has a lot of great storylines and arcs that will make you care a lot more about the characters.

Bro, honestly I hated Noelle, couldn't stand her, not gonna over exaggerate and say she does a complete 180.. cause she doesn't. But her character grows in other ways, very slowly in a way that kind of feels natural. Point is she will grow on you. For a female lead in a shounen she's one of the better ones.

What this thread leaves out is, how her new spells are greatly tied in with the power system with the spell sea dragons cradle being very symbolic of her mental state at that moment. The realization of the power inbalance of the world and how she shouldn't discriminate others but instead protect them as she has greater magical power. Theres also the ugly duckling symbolizim and i could probabaly go on from here. So if you still think her character is shallow, then i don't know what to tell you.

She gets better, a lot better, and a lot cuter, don't worry. She even becomes a fucking badass, but thats if ur planning to stick around to episode 110+

Note: I'm an anime only. She does get better with time. Her I'm royalty gets better with time as she accepts that she is a Black Bull. However I like Nozel more than Noelle. He's big on being royalty, but he's cool about it. Noelle gets more development with time.

Later on you will find out why she spouts out on ‘how she’s royalty’ in every moment. Her character evolves so much to be an amazing character with being one of the strongest females in the show. Granted you might not like her if you don’t like tsunderes.

there’s just way too many threads about this man…and yes she develops throughout the series, you would only hate her that much if this is the first time experiencing a tsundere like her, for example I hated taiga a lot when I first saw toradora since her tropes are exaggerated
