It wasn’t supposed to be PG-13. Mods made a mistake.
Now, it’s fixed. It handles adult oriented subjects and explicit content, R+ is the only rating that it should have.

well you know remember Episode 3, the first 30 seconds...
I think the Rating "R+ - Mild Nudity" fits this Anime.

The reason a lot of people liked this show in the first place was because it was wholesome but recently it’s been feeling pretty uncomfortable

Just watch anime instead of looking at forums

I think it’s R+ from ep. 3, and I think is kinda correct since there is mild nudity plus some adult arguments, prostitution (as backstory) etc.

I don't know if you've seen it yet but there's an episode that very nearly features. sexual assault not gonna give anymore context because spoilers but that's what I'm assume led to the rating change. Not that it matters since it's not like your streaming platform of choice is gonna stop airing it because it's rating went up

Nudity or not, the subject matter is adult orientated. Sayu's backstory, as well as her trying to seduce a 26 year old salaryman means that it had to have an adult rating. Not to mention attempted rape.
