Its about the bed scene. In anime rudeus goes into delusion of getting eris after 5 years after she pardons him . In the manga the scene is exactly the same. But in novel,he doesnt go into this delusion and its particularly not a comedy scene. My question is are they adapting the manga instead of novel? If not then why the anime and manga interpret this scene in the same manner?

I have been reading the LN for the past couple weeks (on volume 12) and from what I recall, it went exactly like how it was portrayed in the anime. Keep in mind as well that the editors for the LN are recently under fire for changing things that the translator had translated to make it more subtle in a way. Eris definitely promised him that when he turned 15, they would go all the way.

I think it was still pretty comedic, he even prostrated himself after realizing what he did was wrong. You were able to see it visualized though in the anime and he really exaggerated the motion, but that also fits with his personality. And to answer your previous question, I am not reading the original japanese version. Don't know enough kanji to get me through that. Maybe one day, I like the idea of getting proficient and working in a publishing company as a translator.

From what I seen so far (long ago WN reader) they seems to their own script for Anime. That is to say they added a lot of additional content and details but mostly stick to the novel.

The biggest differences is they completely stamp out the any anachronistic element, e.g In the novel the butler are wearing tailcoat and the nobleman wore something like a suit.

As for that particular scene I believe it's pretty faithfully reproduced in action but there's plenty of MC self-reflection got cut..

In manga aswell the self reflection got cut totally, Makes me wonder if the director is following the manga lol
