| After reading some of the reviews it's understandable if you find this whole thing not worth your attention. I'm a fan and it's even made me cringe really hard, it's like they didn't want any people outside of Hololive fans to watch it, smh.
If people that didn't knew about Hololive or Vtuber know it from this, then i had no doubt that they'll steer far away from it just like normie who just find out anime from all ages or God forbid hentai anime and assume they're nonsense.

As a long time fan of Vtuber since the beginning of its rise, this can only be detrimental to the growth of Hololive and Vtuber as a whole considering most overseas Vtuber fan are fan of anime as well, many which use this site.

It's genuinely sad because Vtubers are pretty damn entertaining, some of them are not even anime fans. That's why i want to present my knowledge as best as i can so you can judge more clearly and hopefully make you fall into this rabbit hole.

Firstly, i want to explain that Vtubers are just like a streamer but with an anime avatar as their buff either for role-play or protection, which is highly valuable for Shy and introvert people who want to remain unknown or just don't want to be assosiated by the fame and drama directly(that's why some didn't know a thing or little about anime, simply not their priority).

And, if we compare it to 2016-2018 Vtuber who put short videos with a high production value with their 3D model making it a high risk venture, Vtuber now is something that can easly be used by streamer to protect their identity especially with how easly it's to make Live2D.

For a western variation, you can look at Project Melody, Iron Mouse, Nyanners, and many that already integrated at twitch, they're the purest you can get in term of as real as you can get(sureface role-play), i would even boldly say that they're even more real(personality wise) than some female streamer on twitch.

Even on JP part, Hololive is moderate at best in term of role-play with some didn't even care about their character anymore(looking at Matsuri&Haato), Nijisanji(the biggest Vtuber agency in Japan with 100+ talents) is even more so.

So, if you're interested to start your journey down to this hole, i would suggest you to look at Hololive English branch who have a talented rapper(Calliope), a billingual bird(Kiara), Comedic genius(Gura), talented artist(Inanis), and a gremlin who'll groundpound your mom(Amelia).

For JP? look no further than their name at youtube(list at official Hololive website) and there're many many translated clips of them from dedicated translators. If you want a quick look then just click their cover/og songs(most of them are talented singer because they're somewhat of an Idol), especially Suisei, Okayu, Marine, Gura(EN) or Calli(EN) their singing voice are special.

For the short, you can only enjoy this short anime after knowing atleast half of them(holo talents), for me it's 7/10. The comedy're just gold and hilarious for me, especially the latter episodes. It's satisfying to watch if you're a fan. Just like how it's to watch a short ova of an anime you like.

That's all i want to say, i hope this help you know more about Vtuber. Oh yeah, there're Hololive/Nijisanji official Reddit if you're a fan but didn't know.

And lastly, English is not my native language so if there're anything wrong with my grammar or what i said then I'm sorry in advance.
