| A lot of 1 cour anime are fast-paced but if you're talking about incredibly fast-paced that you won't have a millisecond to take your eyes off the screen or even blink, faster than an average brain's processing speed, then you can check Teekyuu, Saiki K, FLCL or even God of High School (wouldn't recommend the latter two tho). |

It sucks unless you're into tentacle hentai tier weird stuff (I guess elitists like it as well). Watching it was 6 episodes of pure torture for me. |

| Occultic;nine for sure. It's ridiculous. You have to really pay attention because it can get too fast, but I found that to be kind of its charm. Just the first episode covers an entire LN hahaha. It was alienating for almost everyone but I loved it! And I know you asked specifically for recs in your ptw but that doesn't make any sense. If you want recs be open for stuff you didn't already know about. |

| I'm in the vaguely "meh" camp when it comes to FLCL. I think https://myanimelist.net/anime/306/Abenobashi_Mahou%E2%98%86Shoutengai is a better show from that period at GAINAX. The movie Promare mentioned above is an excellent suggestion. I could hardly catch a breath for the first twenty minutes or so. (I saw it in a theater where its constant action was more overwhelming than it would be on a smaller screen.) Both the on-screen action and the plot moved at a very rapid pace.Luckily for me Imaishi knew when he was hitting the boundary and changed the pace for a few moments. |

If you want recs be open for stuff you didn't already know about. seconding this, Occultic Nine is insanely fast. including the speech. to the point I didn't like it. there's no time to digest the info before you're thrown into a new situation. if it was for me, I'd cut stein's gate's episode count in half, and make occultic nine twice as long. think both shows would benefit from this. try the redline pilot btw, it's nonstop action. |
