| It gets worse, actually. There are few episodes with a good pacing. Most of them are flashbacks or serious stuff (Yasuie...) Episode 950 for example takes place on chapter 950 of the manga Episode 951 adapts both 950 and 951 so yeah, the pacing sucks. |

| It isn't bad. Yet it is slower than the manga because the manga is ridiculously fast. It doesn't mean the anime pacing is bad. |
| The pacing in the anime is absolutely atrocious, and has been for years, ever since Dressrosa, or maybe even earlier. The story is constantly way too close to the manga and Toei will never put OP on a break because it prints mountains of cash. Usually when that happened back in the day the studio would just pull filler out of their ass but OP filler arcs have always been short so it doesn't really help at all. Dragging everything for way too long is the only choice they have. |
