When talking probability, there's no one thing that is objectively better, it all depends on luck. However, throwing resources at a guaranteed result, even if unsatisfactory, is almost always better than being completely at the mercy of pure chance. About the classes you're missing, well, I'm of the opinion that you should roll for specific Servants, not classes. In early JP we had no choice but to run for classes because it was a shortcoming in our lineup and we didn't know what DW will present us for the future. We just wanted to be ready for whatever they throw at us. This is not the case in NA, fortunately for you. You know exactly what the best of what's coming is and when they'll there. First and foremost, save for waifus/husbandos. After that, you may do what you want. If you want the best Assassins: Save for Jack and MHX. Jack is always what you should aim for, though. Also, make sure you get Shiki in the rerun. I'm assuming you already have Summer Scatty. If not, look into Cleopatra and Summer Ushi. If you want the best Lancers: Save for Bryn, Karna and Summer Raikou. Bryn's rate-ups are so rare, they deservingly attained meme status. Save for it in advance, if you have to. I'm assuming you'll be getting Jailter (Santa loli J. Alter). If not, look into Parvati. |

Kayneth did nothing wrong :'l Despite being an asshole, Kayneth's literally the only person in that HGW (besides some Servants) who has an actual sense of honour and a desire to fight fair. He's a naive dumbass cause he expected a HGW to be a fair fight between mages, but at the end of the day, he got wronged by everyone in that war because of his naivety, despite being one of the better people in that war. The issue is, however, that he's remembered as an abusive asshole who ''wronged'' Diarmuid which is actually not the case at all if you follow the things Diarmuid actually has to say about himself and what his character is actually like, but Urobuchi in spite of that somehow manages to portray Diarmuid as a honourable, ''dindu-nuffin' wrong/everyone else is wrong'' guy when he's literally the cause of all the ire that comes his way for a reason. He did the same shit with Artoria~Lancelot where he portrayed Artoria as a dumbass who led her people into death and was essentially a horrible King and Lancelot is the victim of her horrible leadership, except that's not actually the case at all and Lancelot's just a narcissistic lunatic. However, unlike Saber, Kayneth and Fionn don't have the advantage of being established characters before that point and Fionn was literally a non-character, so the ''shitty, sleazy dirtbags'' portrayal still sticks with them to this day even though that's not how Diarmuid's story goes at all, not in Fate and not in actual legend. Yes I'm not too happy about this entire ''Fionn is a dirtbag, Diarmuid is a dindu-nuffin wrong'' portrayal Urobuchi did and he pulled a clear Kayneth-Fionn parallel which served to retroactively demonize both. Because ''hey this Fionn guy is an old dirtbag, and this Kayneth is exactly like him! They both abuse the poor honourable Diarmuid who just wants to be a good knight'' |
