Also, i'm just amused that King Hassan's NP name is "Azrael". Assassins in Fate usually use clumsy Arabic words for their powers, but they got this one right.

By clumsy arabic words do you mean zabaniya?

The words are correct, the sense in using them for the myth of Assassins isn't because the Assassins were muslims. Using a word like "Zabaniya" is sacrilegious to say the least, especially when you consider the era and the principles they upheld. The RL Hashshashin would probably kill anyone who attempts to call them "Zabaniya". Not to mention, saying they used the powers of "Alshaytatn" (=The Devil) pretty much goes against their origin when he could've just said their powers are simply crystallizations of the methods of killing they used when they were alive.
The word "Azrael" is different because it's not of islamic origin, but it's of a persian one which befits the roots of the Assassins. The usage of the word was apt because the Hashshashin wouldn't mind calling their leader/best at what he does "Azrael".

It's a minor nitpick, i know, but it's noticeable for someone who's familiar with the language and culture. I'm sure Nasu has taken similar liberties with countless other historical figures.

I'm not going to argue since I don't know shit about this. It's not like this is a direct adaptation of history. Most historical figures would be boring as hell if they were accurate. Those liberties just make it more fun.

I really like how GO has been getting better and better music tracks compared to the mediocre and generic tracks they had at launch and with the first couple of chapters.

I mean listen to this pure epicness from Camelot:

And now this from Babylonia:

I absolutely agree that taking liberties is way more fun, it's just there are other Arabic words that would make more sense and would feel just as authentic to the unfamiliar ear.

Don't remind me that. Unfortunately, it's not the only unreleased soundtrack. Among those I liked, there were :

- Shirou VS Lancer
- Shirou VS Archer
- Shirou's ideals

There's also a bit of Dark Glow (Gilgamesh's theme) that wasn't released. More precisely, the part where Gilgamesh executes Sella.

If you listen carefully, it's not exactly the same. I also thought "Desperate Awakening" was the track I was looking for when I first heard it. While they both share the same "base", they are two distinct themes.

Hmmm, it's a bit different, but i don't know if it's different enough to be that distinct though. But yeah, it's not the same track.

Fukasawa said that he was making the music as he went along while watching the finished scenes, instead of formulating a track based on the direction of the director like how music for anime is usually made. They probably found these tiny rearrangement of the main tracks to be too small to include in the OST. It certainly doesn't seem like Fukasawa had a hand in picking which tracks got released and what didn't.

Lancer Medusa ain't worth using but

A little of both. I found the most joy in this game to be in Babylon, contrast to "OH GOD MY ANUS HURTS FROM CAMELOT STOP"

Yup, that "but" sums it up for me. Sometimes a man's gotta roll what a man's gotta roll.

Hmmm. So far, i feel like i had an easier time with Camelot despite having a few better Servants added to my stock this time around.
The fights are a bit annoying so far, but hopefully they get more enjoyable, especially the solo-Servants fights.

Sometimes studios release a rearrenged OST if it was popular enough. Who knows, we could still get them at some point.

Taiga is pseudo-Servant Nagual. He's a Lancer.

There's a funny bit about it in the story. Apparently, Taiga's personality is so insane and overwhelming, while Nagual has all the influence over the vessel's class, stats and attributes, Taiga is completely in control of the body lol

Enkidu's a mess, dude. His skills are awfully underwhelming and all over the place and his deck is painful to look at.

AQQQB
Skill 1 buffs Buster, Arts, and Quick by 50% for a turn
Skill 2 debuffs enemy crit by 50% and removes enemy buffs(I think)
Skill 3 heals Enkidu for 10,000 HP, but has a cooldown of 10 at max level.
NP is ST, debuffs defense for 3 turns, and stuns divine servants.

That AQQQB though. Just why.

Skill 1 is just Buster up for 50% with a RNG for Quick and Arts, therefore it's unreliable

Skill 2 is just enemy crit down and removes enemy dodge

Skill 3 is a good heal but with a very big cooldown

His NP is okay at least but he is still inferior to Scathach.

Now that i think about it, when Nasu said that Babylonia will feature the "Face of Fate", who did he mean?
Rin was introduced before it, Gil is an old character in the game, Enkidu and Medusa are hardly icons for the franchise and Merlin and King Hassan are... yeah, i get the feeling he didn't mean them either.

That leaves... oh god...
Nasu, you glorious bastard!

Lovely.
While Sanzo and Karna are good, my lack of good Casters and Lancers is a pain in the ass when most fights, at least so far up to chapter 7, require them. Hopefully this changes. The 5* Jeanne duo can only save my ass so much.

I actually got through 20 without a scratch. Though it's probably because I own lots of top tier Archers, and most of it involves taking down a single saber class enemy.

Starting chapter 21 now. This should be good. Putting these 146 bronze apples to good use, lol.

Chapter 21 went by really quickly. I cheesed through most of the fights with Tiamat with Nero Bride+Squirtoria combo. She had no chance. AoE'd everything before that to hell with Gilgamesh and Artoria.
The part with King Hassan went by pretty quickly since I brought Shiki who is unmatched in instant kills. They went down like flies. I should have used Saber Shiki as support instead.

Overall probably the easiest final chapter of them all.

Yeah I sort of lack instant kill servants besides both Scathach's, so it took me awhile to clear it. Though like you said, the rest was easy, but fun tbh.

Ok, it's official. Ishtar literally says that she's not 100% herself, but 70% Ishtar and 30% Rin.
Apparently Ishtar was slightly more arrogant and unfriendly, but "the vessel influenced her personality greatly". Rin was so similar to her, she blended perfectly with Ishtar to the point that the latter acts out on Rin's personality and values sometimes without realizing it.

If it weren't for Rin, Ishtar wouldn't had lent a hand to the protagonist in Babylonia.
