Ok i'll be honest . Not liking an anime for having a depressing story doesn't mean it's bad or mediocre . On the contrary , many anime are great and i don't see them as bad , but the tragedy and depressing story just makes me not like them because the depression gets to me in the end and i start feeling depressed which i don't want . For example , Akame ga kill was a great anime up till episode 19 , part of why i gave it a 6 is because it went original ending by giving us a very depressing ending by killing off tatsumi and other characters . I got depressed at episode 22 and dropped it . Then i forced myself to complete it since there was only 2 episodes left ( i already went 22/24 so why not go all the way ) . That's how I was when i started watching at first . depressing stories got to me quickly .though I still avoid them , Now I'm better at enduring such stories in anime since i can prevent myself from getting attached to characters that might get killed later or by watching comedy after them . I mean i am watching death note right now and i'm not depressed , so yeah there's progress . |

You did mention Boku no Hero Acadmia though, which is probably going to be an emotional roller coaster throughout the series. I hope you're ready for it! Kamen Rider is a tokusatsu show I will tell you about later. and the video was a tokusatsu tribute video using a remix of the opening of Arata. The other question was asking about the musical artist Prince(who passed away recently) as I was seeing who listened to his music and what there favorite songs of his is. |

And i thought it was overrated as hell . Then everyone was saying it's soo good and praising it on sites , and I was hesitant to try it in order to see why people liked it . In the end , I decided to watch it , and boy it hooked me from episode 1 by quickly going into business about the deathnote and introducing to us a clever person named light. Although Light was killing criminals , but his intentions and ideals weren't something I would look down on him for . He wanted an ideal world where people can lead honest lives without fear of being victimized . He wanted that world so much that when he saw that notebook , it was perfect opportunity to get closer to that world . Also , L that person , although he's also clever and I liked him , I wasn't much affected by his death . What I really liked about death note were the Mind games , and how it was like a chess game . And each opponent trying to predict the other's move . The ending while some might hate it since it's not a happy ending , but we all knew Light will be judged in the end for the killings he made just like he was judging others . |

I gave all airing shows up till now a 7+ rating like kabaneri is a 9 for me now , bongou stray dogs an 8 , netoge no Yome a 7 . My mean score is 7.18 and its rising . About a week or 2 ago , it was 7.08 . Plus I'm not a person who nitpicks on every little thing in a show and go on criticizing it and I can look past some show's flaws . After all , people criticize SAO for being heavily flawed , but it'll remain one of my favorites . |

However, After I finished it , I didn't feel like becoming a regular anime watcher or watching lots and lots of anime . One day , I was browsing videos on youtube and saw several sword art online videos and was curious about it . I started watching it , and I liked it a lot . I started looking for something within its realm or had same genre and then i started going for other genres and watching different anime , be it comedy , romance , action , harem , fantasy , drama and that's how I ended up here . |
