| well in terms of fighters imo Garou mark of the wolves tops the list (play it all the time) out of the KOFs 98 is what I think is the best, but I really like 2003 and 99 out of the metal slugs I may actually like 3 the least, thats the one with the underwater adventures right ? I really like the even numbers. I'm under the assumption they stopped at 4. as for samurai showdown I am not a fan of this series at all, the only one I could stomach is the 4th installment. I prefer the last blade series over it, in terms of weapon(sword) based fighters. |

| Does anyone know if SNK has put out a collection for the Metal Slug series? The only ones I know about are all sold separately. I was especially dissapointed that they brought out Metal Slug 4 (I think that's the number) for the XBOX, yet charged full price for that one game alone. :( |

| Never owned the systems, but I do enjoy Metal Slug and KoF. Thinking of picking up the samurai shodown collection sometime (not sure what version..) inode said: I believe there is one on ps2 I know for sure they have 5 and 6 bundled together talking about metal slugs Actually 4 and 5 was bundled because Sony wouldn't allow standalone releases for US. They denied 3 for that reason but it was released on Xbox for US though. Also third that anthology. It's on PS2, Wii and PSP and you get all the main releases. 1-6 and X EDIT: Metal Slug 7 is on the DS. So far it's not bad but didn't play a whole lot yet. |

| Oh yeah, Metal Slug 3 is one of my favorite side-scrollers ever. Sadly I have never played it on a real NEO, just the PS2-version. I have been meaning to get the antology version of all the games but never gotten to it, I think it's about time now. Hopefully it haven't gone and became rare or something :/ |

| I remember going to a swap meet with my dad at like age 7 and getting a free neo geo emulator at the door. Metal Slug is awesome and there were some other random good ones, something like shock troopers or something like that was fairly epic as well. |
