| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Wow. So that was terrible. They didn't bother to make an complete ending, and Haruka's motivations for being "evil" were totally ridiculous. And then of course, after building anticipation for Akira in his Rei form, it only lasted for a couple of seconds, and was executed in the most cliche fashion. But what I think really bothered me is Akira and his interactions with everyone. I don't believe for a second that he cares about anyone. The way he was talking to Kengo after he saved his life was infuriatingly awkward. It would have been one thing if it had been played off as a joke they way it had been in previous episodes, but it totally seemed like he was serious about his childhood friend dying to save his life. But then he doesn't want to kill anyone and gets Shirogane killed in the process fighting the butler. Looking back, while they were spending so much time with useless filler, they could have had Akira upgrade to Rei, or at least shown it once before; laid the groundwork for Haruka being evil; built up the actual plot in the show; and made Kengo and that other girl more useful, because in the end, they amounted to nothing. I had to drop it 2 points for this ending. 2/10 |
| Wow at least someone besides me bothered to watch this through to the final ep. I only did so out of sheer boredom, not that this anime even alleviated any of it, and to see Akira in his Rei form. What a let down with the few seconds it lasted. |

| You know what I thought when I saw Akira's Rei form? "I don't think I've seen anyone in Bleach with a scythe." Which brings me back to my initial thoughts on this show that it was a yaoi fangirl's deluded retelling of Bleach. |
| But where's the yaoi? It might have made it a better watch if it contained any :P As for my initial impression, I was reminded of Blood +. That impression obviously didn't last long. |

| ;_; Need moar Akira in Rei form! There wasn't even a really good & clear screen-cappable Rei form moment. I didn't dislike the overall series as much as some.... ....but that ending was a little of a bummer... |

| Me liked this whole series. Me disturbed by kiss of Shirognae and Akira only. Rest is ok. Shadow references, mythology with supernatural, comedy, action, special effects and story were ok and no prob for me. Ai shonen was weird but not so bad. Best part and Akira is "King of Light" more to me is a balancer to Homurabi.  All this was too intense and crazy. Me think is too crammed. Better explanations would be better.  Finally I hope to see season 2 where they kill Homurabi with Ruru. |
| Well.. Yay for it finally being subbed! I'm sort of disappointed though. I feel like they dragged everything out and then crammed all the interesting stuff into the last few episodes. Despite that, I'm still looking forward to a second season! Hopefully they will put a little more thought into it. My favorite part of this anime would have to be the relationship between Akira and Shirogane. That and Kengo's stupidly cuteness. ;p AkiraXShirogane kiss~ |

| Death to Ainex subs with switching type-setters, translators, etcetera. Anyhow, I hope it will be finished with something like a small season or an OVA or something. Rei Akira win. Yes, Monochrome Factor definitely isn't the best season, but come on: it's not the worst thing. The whole thing with ''I'm counting on you'' was incredibly cheesy and cliché, that was the worst thing of the last episodes. Hopefully more royal Shirogane if there's a sequel coming... But I guess that's a no. |

| I hope there's a sequel or something..the end was so hanging!! Lulu have been at least killed! Since killing Hamurabi would also destroy the balance of shadow and light oh but then there's Shirogane to replace him as king.. the ending really gave me a lot of ??? All I know is that it was worth the watch anyway..Kengo was worth the laugh!lol! ^__^ |

| I loved the anime , made me laugh and time went by fast, what disappointed me was that all that thing was for nothing, id expected a super cool battle, akira fighting the shadow king in his rei form, more explanation on haruka. It had that WTF moments which i liked but the ending -.-" and the biggest bad guy like technically retreated, giving them time to heal...ain't he the bad guy? he should take advantage of that. what this series needed to be better was 1-3 episodes more for more explanation and badassness. P.S : I LOVED the yaoi hints :D |

| i do wonder why i watched this to the very end. urgh. i agree with all you other ppl, the kiss WAS cute :) but omg, give more of the rei form! it was cool, but yer, 3 seconds is not enough. its disappointing, this series had the potential to be great. if it had cut down on the 'filler-like' eps and focused more on the character backstories (like this shadow king guy? he came in the last minute) overall, 3/10 for whole series. and thats generous.  |

I wish that there will be season 2..Because I want to see that bad guy(I already forgot his name XD)get killed and Ruru too!!And then more shiroganexakira action.. Like really:S:S They'll better make it or else ... |

| well, i felt that the kiss between shiro & akira was there to get the viewers to believe that there might be more smexy scenes in the following episodes. but apparently, there's NOT. Boooohooo. :'( Is this really shonen-ai? Sighzzzzzzzz. If there's really a season 2, it had better be good. :/ Like what most of u peeps had said, the last few eps was good. & then, they abruptly ended. It's like.. What the H. Strangely, the mastermind is actually a non-existent character in the manga -- Haruka! woof woof. :3) |

| This series was really hard to watch. It's taken a span of 2 years for me to finally complete this piece of crap. There was just too much wrong with the series as a whole. I guess it also doesn't help that I hated it after the first episode lol. |

I think they had to rush the ending due to their lack of financial support, etc. I believe that the ending can't be helped. There are many anime which end this way, since they can't completely adapt to the manga. I suggest you read the manga since it is still publishing :) Haruka was made only for the anime so you may have to start from the beginning. I thought the anime was very funny. The art was excellent, along with some fight scenes here and there. Thus, giving the series a 2 or a 3 is unfair. Even though the comedy in this anime is debatable, the art definitely is not. The sound/music was also great. When the scores of these are averaged out, they definitely do not come to a 2 or a 3. Besides, whom does a low score hurt the most? It's not like the creators are going to see it. Being too unreasonable with such a rating does not help anyone. |

| 9/10 some things really pissed me off ( like 'Sailor Moon' type transformations every episode sonce x) and the ending, I absolutely hate this ending. I want to know what happened to Shirogane and see that bastard Homurabi dying. I really hate unfinished stories... |
| Managed to finish watching due to a hopeful kou/haruka scenes. Seeing awakened Rei Akira lightens me the pairing akira/shirogane. (because until now, I still find shirogane a big creep pedophile, but seeing him pair with a mature looking Light King Akira... I now approve the pair -drool-) I give the ending 7/10. I truly love the random and simple craps they do; I'm not asking much for this series. But disappointed due to unsatisfied BL ending (was kinda hopeful). |

| As an overall the series had it's nice comedy moments, but no kidding, this episode was bad and I disliked it for many reasons. First of all Haruka didn't had any real reason for doing what he did and later cry all over Akira, also the fight between Aya and Ruru was like "oh yeah, let's put those two together and make Aya appears like she won without any true fighting in-between, that should do" And for last: I have seen many bad guys with "good" reasons as to why they won't finish the good guys when they can....but this guy completely had them under his control and then says "later" with no reason to do that!! BS!! |
