| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well.... not much has changed really.. which is good! Although the producers has changed, I can't really see any difference in the art... what about the rest of you? And Hinagiku Ed FTW! Not sure about the song but the fact that it's dedicated to Hina makes it all the better :-D Is Ayumu's little bro a new character? - I don't recall him in season 1.... Edit: Added Kazuki Nishizawa to Hayate no Gotoku 2. OP: H-I-N-A: HINAGIKU! |

| I'm guessing it was based on the race arc in the manga though it has been a while since I last read it. Was a good way to re-introduce everyone. |

| I hope the ending will change weekly... I know I'm in the minority, but I'm not a Hinagiku fan at all. D: It was a decent episode, I expected a little more, but there were some chuckles to be had. It wasn't as funny as most of the first season, though. :( I think it should be back to the normal Hayate humour next week, since this was just a re-introduction episode, or at least that's what I'm hoping. |

It's only the first episode. They needed to recap all the characters and everything, so it should be okay going on further. Hinagiku = <3 And the entire ending song was dedicated to her too. And everytime Nagi spoke, I kept picturing Taiga. Gah...can't they use a slightly different voice. It's a tad annoying to me. |
| I was pretty surprised they were able to fit the whole marathon arc/chapters into 1 episode although there were a few minor changes and some stuff not included, it was still a pretty good way to start 2nd season. Hinagiku ED was nice btw! |

| Elisa singing the opening song was quite weird, since she usually does slow-paced songs. But I like it already and it has to be the best song I've heard of the Spring Season so far. |

| I am going to get really sick of Hinagiku this season I feel. The bridge scene was great though. Now time to see if it is all Hina now. |

| as it was mentioned, ED was the best part x-x; OP reminds me too much of ef, and not hayate...lol. kotoko = hayate no gotoku cmon jcstaff! _ _ not a bad ep, they used the marathon chapter in the manga as an intro ep pretty well i guess, but i hope the comedy style returns to normal soon.. |

| yeah i wished that kotoko is for the op~~ but the ed kinda extremely hinagiku. seem she will be more important thsi season. but overall a nice episode, as funny as always. |

| For all the negative impressions written in here, I found it an very amusing, though not nearly on the level of the first season yet, episode. | 3/4ths of the episode was a reintroduction to the cast, yet they still kept it decently funny. I had a good laugh at the "max heart" moment. Good episode and I'm glad to see one of my favorite series back in action. |

| Hinagiku ED was great... The episode in general was decent. The lack of anime/cultural references was a little disappointing... but the ending was hilarious. I'm not worrying though. This episode was more of a reintroduction to the series. It'll probably pick up where the first season left off soon.... hopefully. |

| Upper-average start for Hayate no Gotoku!!, just like the first season. Nothing notable added, it's pretty much the same old sense of humour (without references for now), art, animation and direction. This first episode focused exclusively on creating a new start for the series and re-itroducing all the previous characters, which is both good (for new watchers) and bad (for fans of the first season). Personnally, I put it on-hold, I won't watch it now since I have better things to do, but maybe one day if I have time to waste or become jobless, I'll catch up the second half of the first season and the second season as well. Until then, I hope I won't ever have to watch it :D On another note, I must admit I've never seen an anime where a secondary character totally supports all the show by herself (yes, I'm talking about Hinagiku). She's both the most interesting, the most developped and the most popular character (among fans and producers of the series it seems) of the show, and even has her own song as ED now... A Hinagiku spin-off would be much more interesting than a second season of HnG. |

| Liked the episode a bit, but if you compare it the beginning of season 1(where it has char introductions a lot) and around the middle(where the references are) it fits in it's fitting pace. |

| Hinagiku LOVE. Suspension Bridge best part of the episode and Hinagiku Ending. SaiMoe 2009 Katsura Hinagiku should win this year's SaiMoE 2009. Next episode..Can't w8 for Horie Yui to intervene between Kugimiya and Tanaka. |

| wow this was a preview for the anime (hayate said so at the end) to introduce the characters again so next time we will laugh againwith the parodies...but i willl miss kotoko for the songs. yay hayate is back!! |
