| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- The group is stranded in a cave during a sandstorm, without water. Ray provides some cactus water he's found to a feverish Aisha. He goes searching for more. And that's when the episode goes full Heavy Metal. In a dreamlike manner, we're told a story of Aisha being an alien princess who is chased by an evil power called Shadaw. But a mage bestows the powers of Laytow to our six heroes and they manage to slay the dragon. At first it seemed like a bunch of nonsense, but when you think the dino episode had a reason to be, you start to think this might be an old school development about the enemy side. Was also nice seeing Ray's attraction to Aisha, and Mint confirmed as a fighting member of the group. |
