A big risk it is. Any heart-warming people were showing towards him up until this point is probably void to some degree. But, I guess we have had yet to see (in any great amount) what distinction Kouta makes between the importance of his otaku life & his daughter's life & this is a BIG plateau definitely. I have no idea how Kouta will make this one up, but I for one am looking forward to see how this goes. |

| Damn you knew he was going to screw up by the title but I didn't think it'd be this bad. At first was just more concerned about getting a father's day gift (not surprising he was excited since it'd be his first) rather than focusing on that budding cold. Then brushing off the message about the cold to go to the lineup. Somehow rationalizing it would be better to wait rather than going back right away despite all the delays and only making it back after Kanau was taken to the hospital....He really messed up here. Some of it has a degree of being understandable. But think the line was crossed when he was being called and shrugged it off even appearing annoyed that they kept calling. Of course should help with his development. Has to draw the line about what is important to him. Not that he has to abandon his interests, but needs to improve his prioritizing. Lucky for Kanau she was in an environment where people quickly rushed to her aid. If not I'd hate to think what might have happened by the time Kouta finally got back. Tough break for Kanau. |
