| ^I second the anime "Magi" - Morgiana makes the anime complete. Soul Eater- Maka can be whiny sometimes, but when she fights, get goes all out. Michiko e Hatchin - Two awesome female characters in this. A good amount of action. Claymore - Clare is alright, she's the main female. But, holy shit, man, there are plenty of badass female characters in this anime and they get a good amount of screen time. That's what it's all about. XXXHolic - The title sounds like the porno rating, but it's completely unrelated. Yuuko is a smooth and clever character. Gintama - Kagura goes ape when she fights and there are a few other fantastic female characters. Just make it through the first 10 introductory episodes of this series, and you're on your way to a fantastic anime. Durarara!! - Celty is an excellent character. She may be headless, but he kicks ass. |

| I'd say Marika from mouretsu pirates was quite "badass", allthough maybe not in the cliche kind of way you'd expect from the other names which have been called out so far. Also, Madoka from Rinne no Lagrange. |

| Kara no Kyoukai -> Shiki Ghost in the Shell -> Motoko Mirai Nikki -> Yuno Higurashi no Naku Koro ni -> Rika, Rena and Shion (Miyo too, but it takes time for that) Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica -> Madoka near the end of the series, and Homura throughout the whole show Zetsuen no Tempest -> Aika Steins;Gate -> Kurisu Claymore -> many of them Fate/Zero -> Saber Psycho-Pass -> Akane starts weak and whiny but develops a lot |

| The two main girls in Angel Beats! Not like SUPER DUPER epic but they are still pretty awesome. And the Asuna from Sword Art online. She WAS epic for like 2/3 of the show but then the other 1/3 she kinda... Suck. I would give more but I am too lazy~ But if you search there are other discussions on this topic as well |

| I assume you wanted action so they all share that aspect, Chrno Crusade has the most and Kino no Tabi has the least in that regard. Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom Kino no Tabi: The Beautiful World Chrno Crusade All of the above have badass main main girls, not sure what you're in the mood for aside from badass main girls but each of those have really different premises and genres so check the page for each of them to find out which one/s would fit you. They're all masterpieces in my eyes and at the very least warrant checking out to see if they'd appeal to you. |
