| The overall setup is similar, but this looks to be a better story I think. The next few episodes will be quite good methinks. |

| The Book of Darkness made Hayate's condition worse and now the only thing that might save her is the Book of Darkness itself. Signum has been forced into a dilemma, damned-if-you-do, damned-if-you-don't kinda thing. | Well, I had suspicions that it all could be in the end to just help Hayate.. But it still doesn't justify, what these thieves did.. Even if they had nice life and everything.. They looked at the people and creatures they collected energy - like at tools only, they showed disgust and disrespect towards them several times.. Yeah, these thieves never were human to begin with, so maybe they don't know a lot of things, and their perspective on things which is good and bad can be different, but still.. They did shit, and they know it, and if they don't know, the more reason that they should learn it.. On the other hand, it looks like they swore to not kill anyone, at least Vita did.. So not sure, how it works.. But I kinda have doubts, if they know how destructive book can be.. They should know about it, right?.. |
| Best episode so far, honestly the villains were annoying me a lot, specially Vita, BUT this explains a lot and gives MUCH NEEDED context, definitly makes them way more likeable, it was certainly a very much needed episode and now I more looking forward to see how it will all solve out. This episode had a lot of feels to it, and plot twists, may not be the most clever ever but I feel it was really well executed and even more interesting than S1's. Also that blue haired dude probably cames from the book too, but it is evil or something. (the cat ladies where awesome, I kinda wanted to see that cat lady "eating" ferret boy~~) |
