| Well I guess that would be the canon reason but he mentions how he forgot to add them in one of the manga opening page things where the author writes a pargraph. |

As for the actual question... Toriyama forgot about that little detail. However, someone involved in the process must have caught on to this continuity-error, as even though Gohan does fight in the movie, he does not transform. (There is a shot in the trailer of him transforming, but that same scene in the movie merely has a white aura appearing around him while his hair and eyes remain black, just like how it was in his battle against Boo.) |
