| Hmm...I'd say these... Psycho-Pass (cont. from 2012) - This was probably the best anime I watched from 2012...and I certainly hope the 2nd half is just as good as the first. Robotics;Notes (cont. from 2012) - Honestly, I didn't have high hopes for this, despite it being an in-direct sequel to Steins;Gate. However, it's a lot better than I expected and I certainly hope the 2nd half can build upon the dramatic tension the 1st half established. Maoyuu Maou Yuusha - Same direction and animation as one of my favorite anime romance series (Spice + Wolf). This could be the best romance anime of 2013. *fingers crossed* Chihayafuru S2 - Honestly, the first season managed to surprise me and then disappoint me a bit with the lack of character development in the last 10 or so episodes. If the 2nd season can manage to turn things back around and build some better chemistry around the characters, then this could be a really enjoyable series. Gundam Unicorn Ep 6 & Ep 7 - It hasn't been announced when the 7th ep will be aired but I'm guessing it will also be this year considering they've been coming out every six months and Ep 6 is slated to come out in March. I watched the first few eps of Gundam Unicorn and decided to wait until all the episodes have aired to watch it in its entirity. It seems like a fascinating series and seems to step things up from it's predecessors in regards to story and characters. |
