| Leave it You're stranded in the woods with no hope of making it out. You start to hear footsteps creeping a couple yards behind. You stop for a moment and just listen... there's nothing besides a wolf howling at the moon in the distance. You start walking again in the direction you best believe is north and again you start to hear something following you. It's dark and you can barely see in front a couple yards past in the bushes. Suddenly you hear a big snap, you quickly turn around to try and see if anything is there...Nothing just more trees and bushes. You look closer and you hear something brushing against a bush you look in the direction of the sound and find two red eyes on a dark shadowy figure just staring at you. Your body starts to shake and tremble in fear. What is it? Why's it following me? Is it gonna kill me? Those questions seem to be the only words rattling through your mind. Then you hear more sounds and more red eyed shadowy figures approaching you. You slowly turn around and prepare your body for the run of your life. BA DUMP BA DUMP BA DUMP your heart is racing and your lips start to tremble..."Go, move. Move god dahm it" you keep telling yourself but you're so overwhelmed by fear your body just won't move. Finally you take one deep breath and exhale. GO!! You start to run moving as fast as your legs possibly can. Slash, something just ripped your back open. You trip and fall in antagonizing pain, blood is leaking all over your sight and hearing is slowly starting to fade. You use whatever energy you can muster up and start to run forward and you trip again. You look down and it's a dead body with blood splattered all over the brushes and trees. You would scream but you're so terrified you can't even let out a whisper. Laying next the the body you see the severed arm a yard away from the body...The arm has a death grip on an old rusted machete. So do you take it...or leave it? |
