| Sony : Average, better than M$ but not particulary good. The Last of Us and Beyond are just AWSOME ! And the little more we've seen of AC III looks cool. IDK why I was expecting a surprise from Sony like seeing FFvsXIII or The Last Guardian, which I already knew that there would be little chance of seeing them. Only Nintendo left. I don't expect anything coming from Big N… Except if they come with a new The Legend of Zelda for Wii U. |

| Watch Dogs, Beyond, God of War Ascension, The Last of Us, and Assassins Creed III were the best parts of the conferences for me. Microsoft's conference felt like filler to me with a focus on their new apps more than anything. EA getting the UFC license was news to me as well. The WonderBook or whatever it was called was the buzzkill of the Sony conference, why they thought it would be a good idea to plop that shit in the middle of their show is crazy. Looking forward to what Nintendo has for their WiiU lineup. |

Yeah you didn't hear the interviews that i did, the game is actually going to be nothing like heavy rain, its going to have more interactivity then heavy rain did. I agree though Games like Heavy that are just movies with QTE littered through it are not the right way to make makes games a better story telling medium. I understand that the interactive nature of games makes them inferior story telling mediums than books and movies, as the player is basically an agent of chaos on the story, but to try and remove the interactivity and only build up more of a wall between you and the MC is counter productive. That is why i am really looking forward to this title, as i heard its alot more action oriented, giving you more interactivity to the player, well delivering a great story. |

Can't wait to learn more as both upcoming CV games are playable in Konami booth this year so I expect a lot of gameplay latter today. |

| Nintendo........ Lets have the finished console in our hands and not release a price for it. Fail on Nintendos part. Nintendo drops the ball on the Wii U on E3 last year, announces all theses but no price. That console is all finished, I want to know how much I will be paying for it. Also no zelda, or glimpses of Wii U zelda. Another big let down. Nintendo is still having problems with 3rd party games. Releasing Batman Arkham City Armored Edition is nothing big. We've all played Arkham city, we probably wont buy it for the Wii U. ACIII is coming for both Xbox, and PS3. Everybody will buy ACIII for Xbox and PS3, not Wii U. No real reason as to why we should all invest into the Wii U on release day. Watching the coverage on Spike, Fils-Aime dropped a bomb about a WORKING TITLE code named Project P100 developed by Platinum Games and published by Nintendo. I hope its something really good. Wii U gamepad looks HUGE. Its looks like an extra large extra thick Ipad with buttons and sticks. Probably weighs a good bit too. Sony wins this E3 tbh. Last of Us was a great and the Vita cross compatibility really showed me the promise Sony will deliver. 200+ titles coming to the PSN this year, along with 63 titles just on the Vita. The last thing Im looking forward to is on Thursday when Epic Games gives us a look at Unreal 4 Engine. |

| Project P100, developed by Platinum Games along with the developers of Bayonette and Okami were playing the game in Spike's news room. Looks just like Pikmin and it will be exclusive to the Wii U. It might out on launch day. The player took these pikmin like characters in the game and made a GIANT sword. |

It's common practice nowadays, and it makes me sad that people actually buy it. I vote with my wallet, but it makes no difference whatsoever. Also I love how we haven't heard a damn thing about FF Versus 13....but square did announce a final fantasy music rhythm games.... Square sure understands it's fanbase. |

| I have a lot to say about the press conferences and i will be posting 6 parts on this very thread. The First part will be my thoughts on the Microsoft Press Conference, part 2 will be sony, part 3 will be Nintendo pre e3 press conference, part 4 will be Nintendo press conference, part 5 will be the 3DS games and part 6 will be anything that is not covered during the press conferences. since i have the first part written it will be posted since i am pretty much copying and pasting on different websites i have to admit but since i haven't written the other 5 parts yet those are going to take awhile I am going to warn you guy some stuff i am going to say you might or might not like and if we have the opposite opinions then cool i respect you for having your own opinion and i am not going to demonize you if you happen to like the stuff i hate or hate the stuff i like. So with that aside i hope you guys enjoy my thoughts on E3. |

| Ok so here is part 1 of E3 2012 the Microsoft Press conference. Halo 4 looks pretty good but im not sure if this will be enough to get me to re subscribe to Xbox live. I liked the Splinter Cell trailer and i don't know if its me but it seems like he has his equipment from the first three games back which makes me happy. however the question is whether or not this game will also be available on the ps3. (most likely it is) I don't care for EA Sports games so no opinion on those. I’m not going to get fable the journey (or shall i call it fable the rail shooter) because it forces you to use the kinect and it suppose to be an RPG not a shooter. Next up is Gears of War Legend, to tell you the truth I really tried to get into gears of war for the past 6 years and was never interested in it so I am not going to pick that up. Forza Horizon doesn’t look that bad but I want to try it before I buy. Microsoft announces Xbox Music but if i wanted to download music I would use itunes. ESPN, NBA, NHL, and Nickelodeon on my XBOX!! HURRAY!!! I always wanted to have these channels on my Xbox despite the FACT THAT I CAN GET THOSE SAME CHANNELS THROUGH CABLE!! Seriously if I ever wanted to watch sports or nickelodeon i can pick up the remote and watch tv through my cable provider. Then Microsoft starts to talk about navigating the xbox using voice commands (where are the games?) Then after that they reveal smartglass which is essentially similar to the wii u tablet except its connected to a windows phone or an IOS device or whatever. While it seems to provide information about a game that is currently playing it seems to be geared towards the “entertainment” part of the Xbox rather then the “gaming” part of the Xbox. Then we get Nike Fitness Plus, Not interested After a half an hour of “entertainment” we finally get back to games that actually use a controller. And three games were reveled the first game up is Ascend New Gods, the trailer is not bad but need more info. Next game is LocoCycle, it might be interesting but again need more info, and the final game is… I forgot what it was called but it looked a little like portal and just like the last two I need more info. Tomb raider looks cool I really liked the bow and arrow and the waterfall part. Then we are treated to a trailer to Resident Evil 6, Looks pretty good but I don’t really approve of capcoms latest business methods but I’d rather not get into it right now. Next game shown is South Park the turn based RPG which looks appealing and really funny. I also like the fact that Trey Parker and Matt Stone came out on stage and made fun of the smartglass. Now we are almost at the end and Dance Central 3 is announced, Surprise Surprise. However this is where the conference went to it’s low point and that is Usher. He talks about dancing then all of a suddenly he performs on stage. Now this is the point where I am going to go on a rant. WHY is usher performing at E3!!! If I am not Mistaken E3 is supposes to showcase video games that haven’t come out yet and here is usher performing a lip synced pop song and the performers are obviously not standing in front of the kinect. This was a waste of time and this time could have been better spent showcasing the halo 4 multiplayer gameplay. But all that aside im not interested in Dance Central 3. Now we have come to the climax of the press conference and the biggest game to show off is Call of Duty Black Ops 2. Really it had to be black ops 2 you couldn’t of traded places with halo 4? But my thoughts is it looks like the single player looks like the same old Michael bay inspired story. I am hoping I may here about something that may change my mind about black ops 2 but since I am someone that thinks call of duty is overrated it is going to take a lot to convince me. Overall while it is not as bad as the past two years it is still apparent that Microsoft has mostly forgotten about the hardcore gamers and is putting a bigger emphases on casual games and people that only use the system for anything that is not gaming and i wish that Microsoft would atleast try to appeal to people that prefer to use a controller besides using sequals/prequals to fill in the void. I am going to try to get my thoughts on Sony uploaded tonight. so stay tuned. |

| Well... Im happy, I watch all Nintendo's conference. But, that I dislike is: Mario has 3 games (not counting paper mario and Luigi's mansion): Super mario bros U (and one for 3DS) and the one that has a lot of coins. I like how wii U is. And the game of zombies good good. |

| Now i will post part 2 of my thoughts on this years E3 Press conference for Sony The First game to be shown off at the Sony press conference is Beyond the next new release from Heavy Rain developer Quantic Dream. It looks interesting and I did like heavy rain so I will defiantly give this a shot. After that they showed Playstation All Stars Battle Royale. Looks really good I am defiantly going to pick this up. And the two new characters reveled at the press conference is Nathan Drake which was a given that he is going to be in the game. And Big Daddy from BioShock and since Bio Shock is a multi platform series it actually makes me wonder if Sony’s going to Add More third party characters in the game and who will they be. I’m looking forward to hearing more reviles about first and third party characters. Next we move on to Cross Control. All I have to say is that if the game is both on vita and PS3 then it is a good idea that a PS3 player can play against a PS Vita Controller. Then we hear about Playstation Plus users getting full retail games for free (take notes Microsoft) and to me that sounds like a really great deal who would want to pass up full games if offered for free. Then we get to the PS Vita with the announcements of Call of Duty Black Ops Declassified and Assassins Creed 3 Liberation. While I am not a fan of both franchises Sony really needs to find a way to sell the Vita and if that means using the top selling franchises to do it then so be it. But for me I am still not convinced on picking up a Vita. Then we get Assassins Creed 3. While I haven’t really gotten into the franchise ( I am planning on giving the first 2 games a try) I do say that setting it during the American revolution is pretty brilliant because I honestly can’t think of any other game that took place during the American revolution. (correct me if I’m wrong) Then Far Cry 3 is announced I don’t know much about the Far Cry series but to me this game looks like another first person shooter. Then we move on to the Playstation Move which seemed like Sony was abandoning but it seems like they are not doing that yet with the announcement of Wonder Book Book of Spells. I admit I was bored when they showed this off because it was a little dragged out but from the looks of it it didn’t look to bad and it looks like it will be great for kids. Then we have god of war Ascension. I played the first god of war and I was turned off by the excessive button tapping in the game so because of that I didn’t get into god of war. So I don’t have an opinion on Ascension. Then Finally the show closes off with The Last of Us. While this wasn’t necessarily a surprise it does look really good and it looks like its going to be a survival horror game without the horror in it and it’s made by naughty dog which I can defiantly see because when they first showed footage of the gameplay I thought it was an uncharted game at first then a few seconds later I realize it is not uncharted but a survivor horror game but then I realize that the enemies are not zombies so its not a horror game well the point is the trailer kept me guessing which I like. I will defiantly look into this. In Conclusion while a little underwhelming because there weren’t that much surprises Sony did what Microsoft didn’t do which was putting games over features. Yea sure they talked about there services such as youtube and crackle and there was playstation mobile but at least they didn’t spend a half hour on it and have pointless pop acts on stage. (usher and flo rida I am looking at you) So overall the conference was pretty good I hope there Is truly meaning to the words “The Best is Yet to Come.” So I am looking forward to that. I will post Part 3 and 4 tomorrow which is about nintendo's press conferences. |

| You know the most interesting stuff has been coming from the stuff NOT in any of the press conferences. Like Aliens: Colonial Marines looks great , Borderlands 2 is looking really good, Cyberpunk sounds fantastic and Star Wars 1313 looks good too. |
