| Sage Kabuto? Interesting... though not as cool as Sage Naruto. :P Uzumaki Karin? Really? LOL, I'm surprised Team Taka was actually mentioned. At least they're not completely out of the story now. Ever since Sasuke got Susanoo, it kind of feels like he's less calm and collected in fights. He seems to rush things and use everything with brute power. I miss the times when he's more analytical in fights. Then again, I think it's just an outside impression this chapter is giving me (and maybe because Itachi is here and he's always the more quieter one). (And the details of the Sharigans are starting to make Sasuke look like he has glittery eyes in some smaller panels..) |

With all the "Uzumaki's amazing red hair" and Karin having bright red hair and all c': and I actually think there are more - Kushina once said that after the destruction of Uzushio Village members of the Uzumaki Clan fleed and hid with a new identity (chapter 500). glad Sasuke was rather... emotionally stable this chapter but Kabuto was more than an ugly motherfucker dear lord |

| Other than a moment of extreme nerdiness, Sasuke seemed almost normal this chapter. I missed his 'analyze-opponent-fight-accordingly' side, but the best part was Itachi making fun of him. Uhm, if Karin is an Uzumaki, what is she to Naruto? Cousin? Aunt? And it doesn't seem like Sasuke's going to tell it to Naruto anytime soon, so I wonder whether he'll find out... It seems like one of those sub-plot hooks. |

| Reading other forums, it seems like a lot of people have already speculated about Karin being part of the Uzumaki clan, so it turned out to be unsurprising for them. I don't know why I completely looked past Karin's "red hair". Maybe because it actually doesn't look that red in the anime - reminds me more of a magenta pink instead. Regardless, I don't think Karin actually has any direct relations with Naruto. The Uzumaki clan is not a small clan in the past anyway. On a sidneote... with Sage Naruto and Sage Kabuto, it would be nice to see Sasuke in sage mode (obviously won't happen but it's a nice thought). Hawk Sage perhaps? :D |

| well, Kabuto just transcended into the ultimate land of WTF WAS THAT?!? Itachi's wtf face was pretty great. A dragon?! Seriously?! Last week there were dragons everywhere in Anime, but you didn't have to go this far, Kishi... I have to admit, the "kawaii kyoudai combo" is pretty lovable, but it's still hard to see Sasuke like this all of a sudden, especially after his recent berserkers. And Kishi's pretty bad at explaining too much in the dialogue as it's convenient. The Uzumaki Karin thing really got me, and the convenient Suigetsu lube is just too slippery for me. The sage thing is the worst offender though, when did that happen?! that's a big deal! you can't go off explaining Kabuto's power-ups when it's most convenient! Kishimoto's spread too thin, there's too much going on and he can't keep track of everything (and neither can us readers) so it's falling apart. Kishimoto-sensei, go read One Piece!! |

| Well it seems like Karin was confirmed to be an Uzumaki. And just when you thought that Kabuto couldn't get any creepier...rofl. Btw am I the only one who laughed his ass off once I saw that huge snake chilling and having a smoke on that chair? Quite a decent chapter. The translation makes it feel a little bit out of place though, Dr.Snakes...the hell? 4/5 anyways Oh and the color spread was kinda nice. It was a little sketchy but it's been a while since we have seen the Konoha scenery, so that was a nice change. |

| I'm really liking the new Kabuto as a baddie. Something about glasses makes an evil character seem more evil (I'm looking at you Gendo) so I'm glad Kishimoto is giving him more powers to stick around for a bit. Well, if Sasuke and Itachi win then Tobi's plan falls flat on its arse as all the impure resurrection jutsus will undo. Assuming they dont just kill him and mess everything up! The revelation of Nagato and Karin being of the Uzumaki clan was a little surprising but a decent enough plot drop. Well, a lot of things in long running shonen you just have to shrug and move on or you'll end up butthurt like Arashi89 above me. I think he's confused in that all Uzumaki have red hair, not that all red-hairs are Uzumaki. I know their village was destroyed but I dont remember anything about there being only one survivor. Ah well, enjoyed this chapter. Decent read! |

| I have always found the snakes to be the most interesting of the summons, so I would have loved to see Kabuto's training - perhaps the anime could atually pull a decent filler surrounding it? The snake with the ciggie looked quite trendy. ;) Nothing's going to happe to Sasuke, but it would be karma to see him bought down by the traits of his disgarded team. :P Kabuto is now one of my fav' characters in the series. It's nice to see an established character who isn't a stroppy teen who has doors open for him - pity he won't stick around too long. Best chapter in ages.
