| Huh, so the mystery girl's name is Nami. Lol Buggy really is a clown. Why do these pirates have such a goofy makeover? His crew is more like a circus lol. They really named those cannonballs, Buggy's Balls... My boy Zoro saving the day. His 3 sword style is so sick. So Buggy's devil fruit power is to not get cut (and detach body parts on will and move them). But, when he was choking one of the crew members for 'mocking' him, there was no detached hand on his throat. Animation mistake? For reference, the time stamp is 05:22. It looks as if an invisible force is choking him. How in the world did Luffy bite off a sword?!? Fun episode |

| For this episode we got introduced to Buggy the Clown who I think was a pretty entertaining character, he to me was a good mixture of goofy and menacing all in the same package right there. And I know he'll play a significant role later on but for now pretty good introduction to his character for the time being. Nami apparently has a dream much like Luffy and Zorro, for her she wants to be the best navigator the world has ever seen. Speaking of Nami, she was very hardcore though just placing her whole hand on a lit fuse on an active cannon being fired. Painful but pretty hardcore. And my god Buggy has destructive cannonballs that can level an entire village! I mean jeez if Nami hadn't stopped that canon from firing then then my god I don't know if Luffy would've survived that. As zany a show as One Piece can be so far, it certainly has depth there, a lot of depth there. |
