| when something is "too good to be true" means your self-esteem is too low you can work on it or enjoy your blue sunday victimhood why they gotta exaggerate like that though i don't understand. just finished watching odd taxi recently and the same shit was there too - "we've known each other for a few weeks but lets get married". but at least this time bro is ok and not a total clown oh and she's codependent too. who cares that she's good-looking. he dodged a bullet a kinda boring episode with a horrible transphobic joke at the end |

| I've often been unconvinced by the sentiment in this series but Keaton's friendship with Daniel came through here. It was straightforward and not connected to some schmaltzy melodrama or historical fiction or trying to show Keaton as great and wise. |
