THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------
I just saw this RAW. Ok, this is for sure a filler episode. The first thing is that I DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE FACT: How the hell does Midori teleport from her trip to Ran, not astrally nor in a ghost state but in real physical matter like Star Trek. THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE EVEN WITHIN THE PARANORMAL CONTEXT.

I though the telepathy thing would be respected but now they are just going bonkers over the paranormal unless these girls super paranormal agents, (I mean other than having telepathy as power), teleportation like this is IMPOSSIBLE EVEN MOVIES DON'T DO IT THIS WAY. Seriously Midori does not have the power to teleport, this is a exageration. This should stay more in the telepathy field and not expand too much. At least have someone else have that power cause the show is supposed to be about 2 girls having telepathy as a power and amazing paranormal powers like teleportation should be given to other characters.

Other than that Ran thinks of herself too like Mini-Fee or Pretty Sammy that heals all troubled people. Personally I think, Ran cannot handle other people's feelings though it seems so far she can manage but that is only cause others are helping her.

This being said the episodes moral: WHEN BULLIED AND ONE SAVES ANOTHER OF THE OPPOSITE GENDER FROM BULLYING EVEN THOUGH ONE IS AFRAID OF IT, ONE SHOULD CHERISH THAT PERSON'S EMOTIONS OR AT THE VERY LEAST CONSIDER AS A FRIEND. IT MAY MEAN ALSO BEING ALONE IS NOT GOOD.

Since this a more child anime type this is supposed a lesson so kids make more friends, be less embarrassed or isolated and try to group against bullying.

Yeah there were a lot of sketchy things about this episode. I didn't really like it and thought it was rather lame.

Yeah it seems it's more SKETCHY AND EXAGERATED (OVERDONE). But you know Moderator-san there were multiple messages about bullying and such.

DO YOU THINK JAPAN STILL TRYING TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT BULLYING?

I think they are based on this episode considering the airing is near school times.

WHY THE HELL MY PIC IS NOT SHOWING IN PROFILE WHEN I POST???? CAN YOU FIX THAT?

Maybe if you stop writing everything in CAPS and realize that one question mark per question is enough. (:

Don't know if it helps but your profile picture is different from your forum avatar.

No offense to be done with CAPS just wanted to do the equivalence of stressing out something or sorta using a highlighter on the writing I find is important.

There have been very few sources that have even claimed teleportation of small inanimate objects. The British 19th century spiritualists called it "apportation."

Idries Shah gives some hints that certain Sufis might have been able to teleport themselves and an entire horse for military purposes. Of course, they were still fighting medieval style on horseback, so clearly the advantages of teleportation were not as earth-shattering as they would have been in anime.
In anime, they would have teleported in a giant robot, at least, maybe with Hellsing riding on its shoulder as a sniper.

The Forteans allege that some persons of no known talent found themselves teleported, by unknown agencies.

This concludes today's lecture on the claims of the paranormal.

In anime news, I'm thinking this series is getting weaker and I'm wondering if it will soon be crowded out of my viewing schedule by something else.

Thanks for the news! Interesting set of ideas. Claims are interesting indeed. Now whether something concrete can be established from it....well not really other than writings but it can due higher technology to record data. There also have been USA claims of Top Secret teleportation projects but with technology (known as Chronoshifting). Well that is all I will tell but nice to share some thoughts.

Also, upon reflection I note that the tame, subdued romance in the episode between glasses-boy and moving-girl demonstrated more maturity than the entire cast of "Zero no Tsukaima" put together. I was wishing for a more mature romance. I should have wished for something more specific.

Agreed but this infers that ecchi stuff seems dumber than serious stuff. YOU PROVED THE POINT. Ecchi serious...there is some of it but ecchi ruins such beautiful romance. That is why I think both are very hard to balance.

Eh, my one problem with the episode was Midori's teleportation. Aside from that, I liked this episode probably 300 times better than the previous one because it featured 90% less Rui playing half-assed, annoying detective and 100% more Midori and Ran holding hands. I found Scooby Doo's unraveling sequences to be more palatable than Rui.

You like scooby-doo show? THat cartoon is pretty wack with Shaggy and Scubby..LOL when I used to watch it. Midori's teleportation was wack, I mean I know why (the whole emotional part and them being connected) ;that reason thought is wrongfully represented. They should have made more into a astral type.

I study genetics and these abilities and I tell you that it is impossible. To actually do teleportation you have to master time and space.

This whole thing is about telepathy and at the very least extreme forms like mind control, to me all those are acceptable but not deviation like that. Even #3 with telekinesis was a little shocking but then I though maybe those two only have telepathy and others have different abilities. That kind of show but now, deviating like this makes much confusion indeed.

And when the girls touched the octopus they saw things....horrible things that no pure schoolgirl should have seen.
