Dont hate on the main character just because he is fat. If im honest yes he did throw me off when i first started the manga because he was fat and he also looks like a fat version of Kororo you know that Koro Pokkuru spirit from Shaman King lol.

I think he is a good character and a little different from the normal ones so its a nice change. I do not like that Kaji Yuki is voicing him though, i am tired of him he is way to overused recently.

SO TRU xD its the second coming of simone. They even added a pig(that will most likely transform into a chick) to parallel the mole from Gurren (reflection of main character character traits i.e. mole for simone cos he digs) lulz hopefully the main char is not forever fat or i will be sad(epic HSDK transformation alert). I havent read the manga so idk =-=, but there's always hope.

Kuroyukihime's outfit comes straight from the LN, which has nothing to do with GC. Accel World is a really good LN. With good source material, it can't go wrong to the same level that GC did. Also, you really shouldn't compare them because of Kaji Yuki being in it either. Kaji Yuki is a really popular seiyuu at the moment. He's voiced the main characters in six recent and ongoing anime as well as a number of supporting roles as well. The sheer number of roles he's taken means that at least one of them is going to suck. That was GC.

He was also the series compositor for Mai-Hime, Mai-Otome, Denpa teki na Kanojo, and an associate series compositor for Code Geass. I hardly think that Guilty Crown is a true indication of his abilities.

so when i first started the manga i was like WTF who is this fat ass and why is he the main but then the story became really great and i was like wow and forgot about him being fat.
