Well, in this anime, that's pretty much the same, since the only other relevant character is Kyuubey. That said, Kyuubey is an excellent character (and my second favourite, by the way) so I get your point in creating this thread. Thanks for clearing it up.

Initially, Homura is my favourite character in this series.
But after some time, somehow Kyouko become my favourite character.
And it's different from how I used to like Homura.
It's the type that I will totally say I'm a fan of her! instead of I think my favourite character is Homura(*unsure*)

Sayaka definitely, was the most realistic out of the cast and her breakdown was great, she showed the consequences of becoming a magical girl and it was because of her selfish wish (Making Kyousuke hers) that she had fallen.

After the ending of the TV series and before the 'Rebellion' movie. My ranking is as follows:

Do you I hate Sayaka Miki, absolutely not. Kyosuke Kamijo is my most hated character after the ending of the TV series and before the 'Rebellion' movie.

After the ending of the Madoka Magica Movie part 3: Rebellion. My ranking is as follows:
1. Madoka Kaname
2. Mami Tomoe
3. Sayaka Miki
4. Kyoko Sakura
5. Homura Akemi

Do everyone think I hate Homura Akemi, absolutely not. After the ending of the 'Rebellion' movie, I give credit to Kyosuke and Hitomi Shizuki. I can totally confirmed Kyubey is my most hated character in Madoka Magica series.
