Nice, I'm looking forward to all of those as well. I agree some of the episodes in the series especially near the end felt quite dry. The OVA's before and after the season were both quite good though. I have my doubts about reconguista as well, but from what Iv'e seen and heard it seems like it will turn out pretty good.

Also kinda random, but you seem to know a thing or two about movies. I'm trying to get more into foreign film and more artsy stuff I guess. I started watching a lot of Wes Anderson, Darren Arronovsky and David Lynch lately so I guess stuff like that. I don't know many foreign directors, only some popular east asian ones like Kar Wai Wong, Takashi Miike, Chan-wook Park and Joon-ho Bong. Btw have you seen Snowpiercer? It was Bong's first english movie and it turned out a lot better than Park's attempt with Stoker.

Ok. Thnx for friend request, so you're also a fan of saya no uta too? I'm sorry I haven't checked your member thoroughly in saya no uta club. I like that novel, but the noise is making me crazy and woke up my neighbors so i decided not to keep the game except documentary especially pics. They look so .... i don't know what to say. So what about you? How are you?

I see you know your film, nice. Do you maybe have a list? Letterboxd, IMDB, something.

So many good names there. I'm just going to add Wes Anderson, Godard, Tarkovsky, Kubrick, Tarr........

Glad you mentioned Yuasa Masaaki. I'm in love with is work. Little disappointed you gave based Ping Pong a 7. ;___;

I'm not that familiar with Korean cinema yet, but I like what I've seen so far.

Kaiki made S2, every scene with him is gold. I like that fabulous man, but Jolyne is good JoJo too.

Hmmm, hi, nice taste you got there.
Gotta ask where your anime list's pic is from, for it is dreadfully appealing and I am too lazy to use google (btw watch Tatami Galaxy, I found it more entertaining and eye-catching than Kaiba)

Other directors you like?

I'd personally recommend Dakara for tits all except Le Portrait de Petit Cossette as that's probably the most subjective and It was only after finishing it that I fully enjoyed it (I probably spent 3 days reading it :P)

The others I' like because:
- Goth = Great Characters and dark story
- KimiMachi = One of my favourite romances
- OtK = Good Characters (the novel's better)
- Seishun Pop! = My favourite incest manga, I'm a giant bit of a siscon.

Yeah it's really great. I just feel like it fell short slightly of Rose of Versailles. The ending left a few loose ends for some characters that I felt could have used a bit more development. The core story surrounding Joe was masterfully done though. It is a much more personal and focused story, while RoV was on a much more epic scale and involved many characters. Overall I think it's worth the watch, but it can be very depressing at times and there are also times when I feel the story drags a little and some parts especially in the first season feel fillerish.

Have you been watching anything interesting lately? Does anything for the Summer/Fall season look good? Personally I'm really interested in Gundam G:Reconguista. It will be the first Gundam directed by Tomino (the original creator) in over a decade. Some other titles like Parasyte, Terra Formars, Nanstu and Mushish s2 for the fall season look good.
