| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- This chapter made me so happy. I ALWAYS thought that tobi wasn't madara even after the manga "revealed" it was madara, but all my friends thought I was retarded. It feels good to be right lol. |

| No its definitely the real madara, that's why tobi almost had a heart attack when kabuto was about to summon him. Tobi could be the brother but thats a slim chance because ninja can't live forever. Think of all the hell and experiments orchimaru tried to do to live forever and look how that worked out for him. |

Obito wasn't ever introduced properly in the MAIN storyline of Naruto, but was instead shown in a spin off of Kakashi's past. Why use someone that was introduced in a 6 chapter spin off as one of the main antagonists of the story? I'm just saying that it's unlikely, not impossible. If this does end up being the case, then Kishimoto in my eyes has literally lost the plot. |

Madara would have been shocked if it was his brother as well, especially considering they fought to the death and were supposedly very close in strength. But still, either outcome is possible, but considering madaras brother was dead I dont see why kabuto wouldnt use him in the jutsu. |

| I have to admit this chappie was pretty great. My guess on the identity behind the "Masked" Madara is Obito, Madara's brother or someone random like Uchiha Mikoto ;P There's also a chance that it could be Danzo, since he hasn't been resurrected yet. Hint, hint |

| tobi hiding his face behind a mask was always fishy i never believed that he is the real madara. Now we know it for sure the old guessing game who is behind the mask start all over again good job kishi^^ best pick is proably madara brother. |

| HAHAHA, even though I believed that long time ago since the coffin, I was REALLY WTFing loud @Work :D :D :D :D maybe (and am not sure of that and will not believe it also) that tobi is madara and he did like orchimaru and then kabuto used the original body what would be better is Obito I think !! |

| Kishimoto really likes to make plot twist like this. So, Masked-Madara is not real the real Uchiha Madara. That Masked-Madaa could be Uchiha Izuna or Uchiha Obito or even some else! Kishimoto really did a good job this time~ |

| I have denied the possibility that Tobi=Obito for years, and I will continue doing so. But if it really turns out to be Obito (WHICH I DON'T BELIEVE WILL HAPPEN) I will drop this instantly. For all we know, it could still be Madara behind that mask. Just in a different body. Though I'm not exactly sure how Edo Tensei works regarding a the corpse of someone if that person's mind switched before that. But I'm gonna make my guess right here, right now: It's Madara behind that mask, just from a different dimension, a parallel world of sorts. He just took his own place in "our" world. lol. Just noticed one more thing. When he came out of that casket Madara mentioned Nagato. So he couldn't have "died" THAT long ago. But since he still look pretty young (and afaik Edo Tensei resurrect people at the age they died), he still must have had some sort of trick to not age. Talking about Nagato, after he resurrected everyone in Konoha, Madara (I'll just call him that) mentioned how that jutsu was supposed to be for him. Maybe this way he wanted to get his former body back from the dead, further hinting at my assumption that just his body died and his mind switched. Who knows. Anyway, I'm really curious how this will turn out. |

| Mind is Blown. Well I dont think its obito since tobi fought with minato and obito would have only been a child back then the same age as kakashi. Its probably someone much older and a uchiha, the only candidate left is Izuna Uchiha. The reason I think its Izuna is because when Itachi was conversing with tobi, Itachi suggested that madara took Izuna's eyes forcefully and tobi insisted that Izuna gave them willingly, how would tobi know this unless he was Izuna himself. |

| Pretty nice chapter. good to see little bit kakashi. I hope he will get some more screen time. i can't wait when enemy turn the game and everyone will say what happened. I think those happy faces in this chapter will be sad after few chapters, with madara strike or tobi strike. I'm glad Hinata got some more panels and some talk with Naruto and moreover Kisihi added hinata flashback from Pain arc. That's great. i would expect some development after this arc. He shouldn't know anything about him if he died back then in fight with First Hokage. That explain he was alive all this time. Maybe he did make Akatsuki as Itachi said and he did help him in Uchiha mascare, then how and when he died? Maybe Tobi is the one who killed madara? and took his place as Akatsuki leader pretending to be him with mask. Kisame also knew about madara as Mizukage and Akatsuki leader and tobi can just transform into madara when he showed his face to him. In that case Tobi can be non-uchiha. He killed madara took his eyes and place as Akatsuki leader. |

Well it seems like Kishi decided to speed things up a little with this chapter and finish it with the shocking revelation (although you could already tell that it was either Madara or Jiraiya by the shadow in the second page, while the latter being apparently impossible). So yeah, lets see how shit turns out. 5/5 |
| I see! Im gonna go with the idea that the Madara behind the mask is a Zetsu doing a perfect copy of Madara, much like Zetsu did for Kisame previously! Madara said he wants to make himself whole again at the kage summit so maybe his chakra is sploit in two, half is inside zetsu or something, the other half used for the impure ressurection! I guess earlier Madara was looking at his own body! |

Lets put 2+2 together here a)Madara is shocked when Kabuto shows this final casket b)Madara's revelation to Konan before killing her that Nagato was born because of him c)Madara using wood technique to regenerate his arm while fighting with Danzo's minions which implies his body isn't exactly human d)Madara claiming that Nagato's <strike>Edo Tensei</strike> was supposed to be for him e)The Fourth Hokage is too awesome in this series to be wrong about Madara's identity f)And importantly impure Madara knows Nagato. Not only that, I get the feeling he was entirely expecting Nagato to bring him back to life(which he seemed to think was what happened until Muu corrected him). Now that feeds into Madara's revelation to Konan and his claim about <strike>Edo Tensei</strike>. I think all this implies we really have two Madaras here. But I hope I am wrong, I hope it is even more crazy. Maybe Sage of the Six Paths wants to see his pet Juubi again lol. Obito and Sasuke's Father would make it crap. Izuna might be okay. edit: lol Edo Tensei is Kabuto's jutsu, I suck horribly. I meant to say whatever Nagato used at the end of Pain arc to revive everyone. |

| I still think that it Madara he even says in some old chapter that he is only a shell of his former self. He could have transfered his mind or something like that into another body. Besides who else could it be? Obito? No his body was smashed during the Kakashi's past. Madara's brother? No cause Madara killed him and took his eyes so he wouldn't even have a sharingan if that was the case. The only person who this would make sense to be would be Madara himself. |
