| A leaked list of Bones animators revealed a second season Fullmetal Alchemist and Darker than BLACK. The list apparently also contains phone numbers and home addresses of said animators. File 54 No.74 入江秦浩 "鋼2監督" Irie Yasuhiro: FMA2 Director File 56 No.355 真庭秀明 "鋼2キャラデ" Maniwa Hideaki: FMA2 Character Design Update: Representative director of Bones, Minami Masahiko has posted a statement claiming the lists are fake and that they are not from Bones. However, Ueda Shigeru, Mnemosyne director, received a fax from an unnamed company apologizing for the leakage of his personal information. He checked the list and said the phone number and address listed for him was correct. Bones did not specifically deny the second season of either of these shows. UpdateUpdate: MOONPHASE, which I'm sure anybody who keeps up on the latest anime has heard of, said he received a tip a few months ago that Bones was planning to announce a new Fullmetal Alchemist anime that would follow the original anime. | I would love to see a continuation of Darker than Black. This anime was really enjoyable and I'd like to get some answers to all these unexplained questions. But I'm not so sure about FMA. I can't imagine, that a continuation after the film would be very interesting. As many here have said before, the film draws a clear closing line to the story. I don't see any big potential for continuing at this point. But it would be great if they would do an FMA anime that follows the manga. May be start new from the beginning and leaving out more or less stupid fillers. The manga has such a great story and it's way better than the anime. |

| As much as I love FMA, I really don't want a second season. ._. The movie wrapped everything up pretty well... I mean, I'll watch whatever comes out, but they should leave it alone (unless, of course, it's a complete remake following the manga more closely). ...and I really need to start DtB. 8D |

| For a second season of FMA i can see them having it several years later after the first season. They might find a completely new story line aside from the manga and season 1. But I don't see much where they could continue from S1. Also Darker than Black got me excited 0_0. There's a lot more they can do with DtB than they could do with FMA. Looking forward to both ^-^ |

| Wait a minute, I thought that the (first) Fullmetal Alchemist series was divided into 2 season box sets by FUNimation Entertainment O.O. Putting that aside, it would be awesome if this is a remake of the series following the manga's plot 100% of the way to the very end ^_^. |

| A second season of Fullmetal Alchemist would simply not make any sense. The first season differed greatly from the manga, and there was a movie that wrapped things up (well, like FMA did in the series they gave an open ending). I don't know how a FMA series in "you-know-where" would do. Unless, of course, they went to the part of the first anime and re-did everything after like it was in the manga... I don't know. I like the first anime series... But, Darker than BLACK. Yay. I'm not sure what to think of this information. (-_-) |
| a second season of FMA? this really baffles me because, liike the posts before mine mentioned, the anime deviated from the source material. the latter half of the series was horrible that it was almost unbearable to watch. not to mention the movie which sucked balls. |

| They can't possibly make another season of FMA - they went so far off the storyline it made me hate the anime! Actually I haven't read the manga in a while, but seriously they really dug themselves into an ending on the FMA anime - especially - with the OVAs. I hated that ending so much! I raged about it like an idiot. But, Darker than BLACK = so welcome! More contractors, more Hei, more policewoman and dolls, that would rock. They could come up with something awesome for that I bet. |
| I want to be happy about FMA 2 because I was sad at the ending but them getting back would be lame, but if they make a sequel and they don't get back I will be mad, there is just too much to think about if FMA gets a sequel, so if it does, as long as it is as good as the best of FMA I will be happy, but wow, maybe, maybe not, maybe, arggggggg |
