| Why is Escaflowne rated R on MAL? I've seen about 5 episodes so far, and I haven't seen anything that would warrant such a high rating. Is there more mature content later in the series, or did MAL just make a mistake? |
| From the thread title, I thought this would be about the series' low average score, which could definitely be considered a mistake :) But nah, there's nothing too bad in it, I'd say it's about PG-13 at worst. |
| Whoever first submitted it just made a random assumption, (which is almost always the case). Not many people actually research stuff before they submit it for approval.. and I doubt all the mods do when they approve to. If I remember correctly, it does in fact have a pg13 score though. |
