| I didn't hate it, though it would have been much more effective if the whole thing wasn't finished so quickly. Kind of wish they followed the Rou anime route. |

THEY TOTALLY CAME UP WITH game8910 THAT THEY PLAN THE ENDING 2 HOURS BEFORE THE DUE DATE!!! i mean...it was a befitting but so heart wrenching that i want to strangle the fucking life out of a cardboard piece and papercut myself to death with a giant sword (made out of duct tape). fuck. I cry. ran out of the room. come back and finish the chapter. cry fuck some more. now i'm going to bed mad at CLAMP. ...such an amazing piece yet the ending could have been more satisfying...... |

| This is intolerable. There are too many questions unanswered. First of all, when the hell did 100 years pass? Second of all, is the Domeki that Watanuki talking to Shizuka Domeki or his son? The Domeki talks as if he knows Yuuko and Watanuki very well, almost as if he is Shizuka Domeki. Third of all, what's with the damn egg? This is an indeterminate ending. I believed in something more conclusive. What a disappointment. CLAMP has been doing worse since Kobato. Kobato and Tsubasa became somewhat of a success. But xxxHoLic is an epic failure. But if you look at past works of CLAMP, they still haven't finished publishing Kobato, and X 1999. CLAMP has become lazy. As soon as the anime finishes their manga for them, they stop publishing their works. Tsubasa Chornicle anime series, and ova, missed out on a lot of important details. |

| It's like they were doing a poll of worst endings and this one won ! 100 years later ? I had to reread the page 3 times to be sure I got that right ! Wth ? Apart from the fact that everyone is dead , what abt Doumeki ? He compares him to his grandpa and him to his own grandpa so it can't be the same Doumeki ? And if he is not the Doumeki we know , how does he know so many things and what the hell , why are they even together ? Every boy from Doumeki's family that resembles him HAVE to be with Watanuki ? This ending WAS CRAP . I'm resisting giving the manga a 7 cause before Tsubasa ended , xxxholic was pretty awesome but this ... I rly hope this is the end (even if it made 0 sense) and won't have a continuation or whatever . It hurts my eyes to see a great manga end up like that *shakes head* |

| Just finished reading the final chapter of xxxHOLiC and instead of feeling like I'm saying good-bye to an old friend, I want to go out and just sue somebody!!!! CLAMP, WTH was that all about???? You owe us an epilogue or something!!! *running in circles and screaming hysterically* On a lighter note, seeing Yuuko again was awesome! |

| Xxx holic was a really great manga. I even regard it higher than Tsubasa. I believe CLAMP should have just ended it when Yuuko died. 100 YEARS OH MY..... UHH DISSAPOINTED CLAMP. YOU'RE GONNA GIVE A CRAP ENDING TO A SERIES WHICH YOU WORKED ON FOR SUCH A LONG TIME. IS THAT WORTH IT? Rages aside its still a really great manga. Just forget the Rou part. |

| xxxHOLic Was one of my all time favorite series. And yet... the ending... ALG;ASDLFJ ACK. I'M SO DISAPPOINTED, CLAMP. REALLY? THIS WAS SUCH AN AMAZING SERIES AND YOU JUST. LIAGHASLFJF NO. THERE WAS NO CLOSURE. ABSOLUTELY NO CLOSURE. WHAT THE HELL. ;___; That was so unsatisfying to the point that I had to drop the score for the series. Damn, I didn't even like the ending of the manga for Eyeshield but still gave it a ten because it was so good. But xxxHOLiC... ARGH, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN PERFECT IF THEY GAVE A BETTER ENDING. |
| I have mixed feelings about this. The ending itself wasn't that bad, in fact it was somewhat fitting. The problem is, it felt too rushed. Ever since Rou the rest of the cast suddenly disappeared, as if they were not important at all. There were too many loose ends thus giving an overall feeling of dissatisfaction. I think you are quite right. This ending is not so bad. As you've just said, the more the end was approaching the less the characters were present. In the end there was just Doumeki and Watanuki. But I hope there will be some sequel O/ or another story as crossover. |

| I don't know what to think....I can't say I disliked the ending, in normal circumstances I would have really liked it, but there are far too many questions to just end it like this. Once again CLAMP just cuts us off... |
| Not a horrible ending idea, but so rushed. I've been reading this series for 5 years and the way they rushed the ending is like a kick to the head for me. I honestly don't think I'll be reading anything from Clamp for a good long time, or maybe even ever again. I am disappoint :'( |

| You would think that they would give a series that has ran for 8 years enough time to end properly. It's not that it was a bad ending. It's just....it could have been executed better and done a better job of tying up loose ends. Hopefully we get that epilogue. I went back and reread 212 and now that I know the ending, I get the feeling that they were hinting at it not being Doumeki anymore. Although, it might just be my imagination/wishful thinking. |

| I never thought that the last page is the last page of the great manga xxxHOLiC. This makes me curious about the outcome of the OVA Rou. I want an epilogue as well. I still have hopes for CLAMP. |

| You know what's funny.... Reading the reactions from everyone in this thread!!! Really???, you guys are shocked??? This is CLAMP, the same people who haven't given us a good ending to any manga since CardCaptor Sakura. I can't call TRC an ending.... and this is just another one of their WTF endings. Oh well, xxxholic was NEVER in my top 10 or for that matter my top 50... 6/10....The only reason I'm giving it a 6 is because of the first half of the manga, the second half deserves a 1 if not lower. |
| Actually, I don't hate the ending as much as everyone else here. Granted, I don't think it's a great ending, but it's somehow rather fitting? "When did 100 years go by?" Well, that's the mindscrew part of it, isn't it? As readers, we feel as lost in time as Watanuki. Still, I agree that it felt very rushed and with too many loose ends left. Not exactly a proper conclusion for a such a lengthy series, so I am also hoping for an epilogue =/ |
| Okay, what? I thought "Oh, cliffhanger, we finally get to see what that egg is about". I go to MAL to update my Manga list... and it says that chapter 213 was the last. It should have ended when Yuuko left. Everything after that was kinda... nothing really. It's okay if I see this as an extended epilogue... yeah, I think I'll go with that. |
