| nice duel jack atlas :D yeah the jar may have the same special effect as the one in the previous battle, specifically the Sleeping Giant Thud! maybe they're gonna summon the ultimate Machine Emperor Wisel. can't wait for more battles. hopefully there's another arc before this series ends. i want more aki action along with the rest of the supporting cast :) |

| Lucciano was taken down pretty quick, but Yusei smells something fishy. Not sure what Team New World's strategy is, but it seems to be focused on setting things up for Placido. Not really impressed with the match so far, but hopefully it will improve. |

| It sucks that Lucciano basically took the fall just to set up a strategy for Jose and Placido. It makes Jack's victory seem hollow which is awful considering that we learned a few episodes ago that Goodwin had bought some of his past victories. Anyway I really don't care for Carly's new voice; I know that she had to be recast because her old voice actress was in a cult or something, but they could've hired someone better. |
 Jumping onto the subbed version, I noticed the ED has a slideshow depicting all the main characters and their roles in the 5Ds team. I know Aki hasn't seen too much action lately, but damn, even the show is calling out Aki getting sidelined. |
| The destruction from the final Moment needs to be stopped, nor can Ark's Cradle approach New Domino City, its up to Yusei, Crow, and Jack to win against Team New World aka Iliaster. First up is Jack vs Lucciano (Lester), and no time is wasted. Jack brings out Red Nova Dragon while Lucciano brings out Meklord Skiel. That infinite aura jar trap card does not look good, it could potentially be one of those cards that deals damage to the opponent depending on the number of counters multiplied by some value. Jack ends up defeating Lucciano, that definitely seemed too easy. The real challenge is going to come from the next two emperors of Iliaster. Ending theme is so good, and Aki holding hands with Yusei as well, its just so PEAK. Although I am disappointed in how they did not give Akiza more screentime this season, she should have appeared more often during side events like helping Crow and Jack rescue Yusei in Crash Town, to when Yusei and Bruno were chasing after Yeager for their duel runner program, and more opportunities for her to turbo duel alongside Yusei, Crow, and Jack. Even the ending theme calling out how Akiza has been getting sidelined just like Shocked mentioned in reply #15, it is truly injustice to my black rose queen. She should have been riding with Jack, Crow, and Yusei in the "Believe in Nexus" opening theme and she should have been next to the trio in the new ending theme. |
