what do you think was the best year for anime?
| why do you think that year was best? which shows started airing in that year? which movies aired that year? looking at the anime which started in 2007 which i have seen, i really enjoyed... lucky ☆ star, clannad, baccano!, ef - a tale of memories, darker than black, sayonara zetsubou sensei, tengen toppa gurren lagann i also have seen... sola, claymore, school days, shakugan no shana II, higurashi no naku koro ni kai, zero no tsukaima 2i, tsubasa chronicle: toyko revelations there were loads of movies too... kara no kyoukai 1 and 2, evangelion: 1.0 you are (not) alone, 5 centimetres per second, appleseed saga ex machina, shakugan no shana movie, sword of the stranger, vexille - 2077 nihon sakoku, clannad movie and all these shows i haven't watched which look good... detroit metal city, genshiken 2, terra e..., serei no moribito, nodame cantabile, mononoke, mobile suit gundam 00, lovely complex, dennou coil, seto no hanayome, romeo x juliet, kaze no stigma, major s3, afro samurai, hidamari sketch, ghost hound, kaiji, minami-ke, ookiku furikabutte, eikoku koi monogatari emma: molders hen THAT'S A LOT |

| This has been asked before. I don't have any specific year in mind. Good anime can pop up from time to time in different years. |
| 2003, Princess Tutu, Cromartie High School, and Planetes are among some of my favorites (2004 was really good too actually) |
| I would say anytime between 97-2001 All of this gens animefans spawned from the love of that time group. Sailor Moon, DBZ, Tenshi, Pokemon, Toonami.... Just a great time. |

| I'm going to say 2010. I decided to go with 2010 because its where my two favorite animes came from, but that doesn't mean there aren't other years where there were good anime. :3 |

| Every year is shit, for every good anime in a year there were several bad ones. But if I had to choose I will have to say 2002-2003 simply because Azumanga Daioh and Gunslinger Girl came out then. |

| From looking at the anime I've rated a "9" and "10", the year that has the majority would be 2007, and than 2006. Though there's great anime from every year. Early ninty's anime is the best. |
