I bought a few from "thebookdepository".
They got a pretty big collection.
Should i keep buying from them, or do you have another good websites to reccomand me?
I need a world wide shipping also.

One more question, there is a lot of bootlegs when it comes to anime dvd's is this the same with manga?
I mean, can stores sell fake manga or something like that?
Just want to know if fakes exists in the manga world also.

Thank you.

I personally use Rightstuf.com for my shopping. The prices for DvDs / Manga seem to be good, and everything is legitimate there. It is the website that FUNimation uses to sell there stuff on, and they also has part in the making of some anime ( http://myanimelist.net/anime.php?p=217 )

I bought the Negima! volumes 1-28 for like $6.80 USD per (sale + discount), which for me is a lot better than going to Chapters and getting them for like $13 -14 per volume.

As for fakes, I presume there are fakes out there (like fan translated stuff being sold) but I'm not sure about this, it's not something I'm too familiar with, just a presumption since there are a lot of bootleg DvDs.

For Rightstuf, shipping price will apply for worldwide, and there is also the price for going through customs (NOT included in shipping price), so it may or may not be a spectacular deal, but for me personally it was a good deal. (Just got to weigh the factors)

That's the best one I've found, around £4-5 a volume which is pretty good compared to the £8 I've found other places.
Waterstones has £8 but 2 for 3, it doesn't work out as good as £4 per volume though.
If anyone knows any UK stores that gives good deals I'd be happy to hear any too.

I only buy manga from Amazon. I buy all my anime/maga items from Amazon, can't go wrong with it. But if I'm dying to buy a volume, I'll very rarely go buy from my local Barnes & Noble.

You can find a lot of bootlegs on Ebay, and there are quite a few websites that sell bootlegs. All the sites that have already been listed are legit, so no problems there. Just be careful and ask around when you find a new site to buy anime from.

I'd say most of the time I buy from Amazon or Right Stuf. I also go to anime cons and get look for the best deals (it's best to keep a list and maybe buy stuff out of order to get the best prices). I also check out my local comic book store, a lot of time they will have a sales or maybe a $5 dollar bin.

Usually from The Book Depository as they're guaranteed to be cheaper than Amazon, but sometimes if I am buying other things as well as manga then I order from Amazon for convenience. It's annoying The Book Depository send everything out separately, but only once have I not received one of the books I ordered and they refunded me all of my money, so it's all good. Sometimes I also buy from my local book shop (Waterstones) if I am loaded with cash and want something there and then. I have also bought from comic shops and conventions before.

I found a store in Manhattan, New York and they sell manga for super cheap. I managed to buy 4 books for only 20 bucks before my father chased me out of the store and two of them were in Japanese. I'm planning on flying back up there in a couple months and I'm going back and splurging. It's somewhere next to the Rockfeller Center.

It's called Kinokuniya Bookstore. Here's the site I just found for eet: http://www.kinokuniya.com/

Which is the best place for buying manga. I'm not from America or England or something, I'm just from small country and there is just few manga translated in my languuage for buying... Anyway, I searched manga at amazon.co.uk and the prices're even bigger than in my country, which has happened first time, because in my country some games can even cost ~100 $ even if they're 5 years old....... So anyway, which is the best place for buying manga, and when manga is published, because I can't find doubt manga :/ And if manga is completed, than maybe there is something like complete set which costs cheaper, huh?

I find that Amazon UK has pretty decent prices for manga, if you don't mind used ones. I've picked up 10 volumes of an older manga for around £25 recently. Considering new manga retails at around £6~ per volume over here, I didn't think that was too bad.

Have you tried ebay? Again, this is assuming you don't mind used stuff. You'd have to probably have to pay for shipping, but you can get stuff really cheap if you're lucky.

Also! Just noticed this. Doubt hasn't actually been licensed outside Japan (to my knowledge), which is probably why you're having difficulty finding it. :3 Each of the volumes are up on HMV.co.jp for Y600 each. HMV's shipping prices aren't bad, and they offer free freight shipping if you spend more than Y2500. (:

I usually buy my manga from borders but theres a trick to this, if you sign up for a rewards card and then use the discounts you get (40%-50% percebt sometimes!) then you end up paying 4$ for manga. Also they have good bundle deals and usually a large selection.

If you live in a city or near a comic shop you should check there too, for discounts. i live in the philadelphia area and found many with 2$ manga bins or bundle deals, Good luck!

I usually get mine from a local used book store called Chamblin Bookmine although they don't always have what I'm looking for. If I can't find it at Chamblins I'll look for it on Amazon. Very rarely I'll actually buy it new at Books-A-Million but I prefer not to because the prices to me seem just a tad rediculous (last time I was there I wound up spending $40 something on 3 books whereas last time I was at Chamblims I got 11 for $30 something books, and I didn't even have any book credit that day.

I buy my stuff either through amazon.jp or at book-offs (in Japan). Only naive morons pay 8 bucks for a translated shounen manga (double the cost, yet not as good). English manga is such a massive rip off. If I look around well, I can easily get a manga for between 100-300円 depending on it's popularity. Since I like Seinen manga (which tends to have a higher original price tag, but it also sells less) it is easy to find most of the stuff I like in the 100 yen aisle. For those who don't know what that comes out as, it is about a buck. The obvious down sides to this is... #1, you gotta be able to read in Japanese (although I think original language of anything is better than a shitty translated copy). #2, the horrific shipping costs between the US and Japan... if you actually ship stuff you are paying another 100-200円 per book... roughly. The way I do it, is each time I travel to Japan, I stock up to an extreme, and pack my bags (international lets you 2 checked bags, and carry on) almost completely with them (using my clothes as padding)... bam, free shipping (other than the ticket obviously) for easily 400-500 manga. After you get used to doing this a few times, it is hard to ever take American prices seriously. To put it simply, my collection is pretty damn large, I don't have enough bookcase shelves, so I double stack... :\ And it honestly did not cost me nearly as much as you might expect.
