| The ending alludes to a possible second season, but as with other Tenchi based series, we've never really received a sequel. Has there been any word as to if this may receive one? Also what do you all think about a 2nd season? |

| I'd love for a second season to happen. This world that Kajishima built has plenty of potential to be expanded upon. The ending did allude to Dagmyer possibly becoming the next Big Bad but a prequel of the Senshi Civilization in an appealing idea. Hell, Kenshi managing his planetary harem sounds swell, too. I just hope it happens soon. Though I can wait several years for it (already did that with Slayers, much to my dismay; and I'm still waiting for a Dynast arc adaptation). |

| seems to be 3-5 years in between Kajishima's works. Besides OVA 4 is likely to happen next. But basically like someone said, Tenchi is still and probably will always be a good property in Japan and the US, so its just a matter Kajishima getting around to it. |

| It has been a while since the end now...any news about possible 2nd season? I don't get it why they end it in so obvious "2nd season" intro if they don't even plan to actually make it. huh |

| Well Kajishima has stated he has been working on new Tenchi Muyo anime projects and has recently been confirmed is in the final stages of preparations before he official announce it. unfortunately it does not seem it would be war on Geminar sequel, instead it seems more likely to be an OVA 4 or A new spin off most probably paradise war, but that does not mean t wont come out at some point in the future, between each anime there is always like a 3 to 5 year gap average so it might take a while but there is still a chance for it come at some point. |

| Since April 2021, the rights for the Tenchi franchise have been jointly owned by AIC Rights and Toei Advertising. *note Toei Advertising not Toei Animation* And with Toei now co-owning the rights to the franchise, they will definitely try to exploit the franchise as much as they possibly can. In addition, OVA 4 and OVA 5 despite bearing the Ryo-Ohki name, serve more as a prequel to War on Geminar, which seems to me like AIC is trying to setup another season of War on Geminar. |
