they seem to be just killing time with this plotline; Mamoru-san is being an incredible jerk since a while, but the whole thing is getting a bit boring.

Can't they have an episode about Ami that doesn't revolve around studying? Easily one of the most boring episodes so far. This season is supposed to better than the first season, but I enjoyed that a lot more than this one so far.

Oddly blunt fanservice scene with what's-her-name in the tub.

Was it just me or was Chibi-usa oddly silent? She was present throughout half of the episode, but only had a single line. And then she's just absent at the ending. Seems like bad planning on the writer's parts.

I'm watching Sailor Moon for the first time now and I'm finding that it's a really good show, even with the fillers I've enjoyed it so far. To be honest, I enjoyed more the alien arc and the beginning of Black Moon arc with the 4 sisters than these episodes... I'm getting bored, I hope to see Usagi go Princess Serenity mode some time soon or make things a bit more interesting.

I was also tired of meanieTuxedo Mask too, I want to see some romance develop (and like others have said before, having them build their OWN relationship and not this echo of a long-lost-lovers reincarnation).

I guess I'm the only one who enjoyed 1st season more than SM R! Ami rocks, tho.

Didn't like Ami at first. Thought she was always dwarved by Rei.
But really like her now. All her episodes are good. This is is good.
Those who say she is one-sided. Well, what's wrong with being one-sided? Do people need to be un-boring and have 2 personality and be troubled?

And besides, how is she one-sided? First we saw her almost in love with a boy. Then we saw her not able to go abroad because of her friends. Now we see her troubled by her study and her doubt and self-consciousness. I think that's pretty good development.

This may have been yet another unnecessary filler, but at least it was very character-driven and had some nice things going for it. Plus I really like Ami. That said, I think this season has been a major step down from the first one. In the first season we got to see some nice characterization even of minor characters, but here the Sailor Soldiers seem to exist in a vacuum. Instead of nice little plotlines we get lazy fillers that are only occassionally good or funny. I hpe this gets better in future seasons, and that this one at least steps up the quality towards the end.

I really liked the layout of this episode it was fun, starting with her in a bathtub and then cutting back to it at the end. Instead of us having to watch them set up the plan we got right into the plan in action. It was a fun change of place. Also enjoyed watching Tuxedo mask get beat up tbh, (also I thought he and Usagi got back together but did they not?)

Ami really is the most loyal friend and I love her episodes, glad she got to beat the bad guy for once.

Is Tuxedo Mask just a male "Strong Female Character" whose strength always seems to fail them so the hero can be the one to save them?

Nice episode though, liked how Ami snapped out of the illusion by believing in her friends
