| I think it was good but I want to how it got started? When one of girls kick her BFF to the hordes of zombies that was mean served that girl right. At the end the guy killed his best friend that was sad though. I love the Fanservice too. :D |

| People who scream fanservice at this have CLEARLY not seen Seikon no Qwaser or are just plain prudes who don't read what they are getting themselves into. This Anime is an adaptation from a SEINEN manga written by a guy who does Doujins. OFF COURSE THE ASS TITS PANTY LEVELS WILL BREAK THE METER. However there is a plot if you let those minor details slide and the Character developments for the entire cast are epic to say the least. Sad about the episode count though. Hoping for a miracle on that field. Overall LOVING how this is going so far. |

You guys should there's not that much chapters so it's pretty easy to catch up. I did that the backgrounds looked weird at first but I did like how they made the backgrounds with a 2D-3D effect or 2.5D to make the anime have realism |
| ...fuck it, I'm not going to comment on HotD being unoriginal. Why? Because I enjoyed it. Sure, I don't like pantie shots and boob shots as much as the next person, but it gave me a good chuckle when the zombies are gnawing them. So I'm going to treat it as a comedy for now. PS: Also, This anime is directed by the same guy who adapted Death Note. And last time I checked, apart from the ending, Death Note was definitely superior in the anime compared to its Manga counterpart. |

| Guess who's going to be calling this show "Fanservice of the Dead" when it comes up in conversation? I checked this show out because I've literally heard only good things about the manga. I was pretty impressed with what I saw, and it did feel like a western zombie movie that happens to take place in Japan. I hope the series can keep up this much action, energy, and suspense, because that was one entertaining episode. Oh, and I hope Rei gets bitten by one of the zombies, because I can't stand her. |

| Amuzing Anime truly breathtaking but hated 2 things about it 1) that annoying girl Rei 2) the fact that if u get bitten ull turn into one is kinda "limiting" !!!!! IF THE NXT EPISODES WERE DISAPPOINTING ILL TURN INTO "THEM" :XD but despite that this is without a Doubt my Favorite Anime 4 Summer 2010 !!!!! |

I think they intended to do that. The 28 Days/Weeks Later theme. In this series a lot of things are referenced as seen in the manga. So I'm guessing the anime will also reference as much things as the manga which will make it more realistic-to-awesome~ |

Tons of fan service, and the pacing was a little wonky at parts, but I think it's got the typical american zombie horror vibe going pretty well. I haven't read the manga myself but I've heard that it gives homage to a bunch of different zombie flicks, eager to see how it goes. |

| So apparently the manga and the anime have about the same amount of fanservice. Personally I'm not a fan of an over abundant amount of unnecessary fanservice so I'm a little jaded when it comes to putting my thoughts on this show, or rating it. It's a zombie series so I'll give it a little more time, I guess. Overall, not super impressed, annoyed with the ridiculous fanservice, but zombies are cool. Let's see what happens. inb4 "Obviously you haven't read the manga if you think there's too much fanservice." |

Still that was all that was bad with the series. Everything else was perfect. And looking at it they had two options. Leave it hanging with a cliffhanger or filler ending. Either way it would have been unsatisfactory. And why the hell are people saying that death note had a bad ending? I thought it was a great ending. |

| Simply awesome. I don't mind the fanservice at all although i amused how much they showed pantsu & boobs in this episode.LMAO at BFF part,so much for best friend.Can't wait for Saeko to show up & whoop some zombie ass xD Also,great voice acting contributed by seiyuu especially Miyano Mamoru as Hisashi mutter some of his last line & screaming in pain.Pity he had to died in that way.Marina Inoue also did very well as Rei screaming & crying at the end. Looking forward to see how the characters develop as they caught in fucked-up situation that you have to survive at any cost. |

The thing with claymore is that they DID NOT DO a satistifyng filler end. It was still "story goes on" style of ending. Its just that they wasted 4 episodes on bullshit. Now if they went with MANGA MATERIAL and were not being dicks, they could have ended the anime with Thats the problem with this too.I have no doubts that Madhouse will adapt the existing material perfectly, but once they decide to go anime-original and not just end it with manga-material, it will turn into pure crapfest. As for Death Note Ending? It Glorified Kira too much. Manga ending had way more realism and felt satisfying. Death Note storytelling should NOT take sides. Anime ending took sides and almost glorified Kira's death. |

| Hmm? Did someone comment on the high quality animation already? I see I'm not needed here. On another note, although it was really exciting, I didn't get much from this episode aside from zombies eat brains, blood, and panties. Even so, this is the best showing from the summer season so far (which isn't saying much, unfortunately). Hopefully character development will be good. We'll see. |

But ofcourse, how can anything go wrong when it's all about zombies, gore, tits and pantsu?! :D However, I think they held back on the violence a little bit. It was just blood splashing here and there... I wanted to see the zombie's skull crashed and the eyes popping out, the zombies eating the guts of the disemboweled students and wandering around holding a chopped off limb in their hand. Just like it was in the manga! But i guess, they would not dare to show such scenes... :/ |
