| Crash Bandicoot. 1996 is the year where it started. It's almost 3 decades! I always wonder why this famous goofy marsupial boy still doesn't get anime adaptation? It has more than 10 games across many platforms, got manga adaptation and video game commercial in Japan. |

| Not old, but several RPG Maker or Wolf Editor games definitely deserved to have at least one OVA or animated special, like Mad Father, The Witch's House, Yume Nikki, Wadanohara, etc. |
| This game was definitely a big deal in Japan back in the day, but overall it's always been an American brand. But honestly, I wouldn't mind seeing an anime based on it. @RetroCagliostro Judging by the announced film, they're generally more interested in the Western market. Compare that to Mario and Sonic, who already have their own anime and anime-like media. |

| Yakuza aka Ryu ga Gotoku. Several live action adaptations, 20 years of games to adapt and they're already filled with dozens of hours of cutscenes, would be pretty fitting to make an anime adaptation of. |

| Considering the fact that before Persona 5, it was the best selling individual game in the series (not including spinoffs), I am honestly surprised that the only adaptations that Revelations Persona received was the manga and a Drama CD, and never got a full on animated adaptation. Persona 2 at the very least had a short animation included on the Sumaru TV Special Preview Disc included with Persona 2 Eternal Punishment, but Revelations Persona is the only Persona game to never have had any animated content made for it (not including the PSP port's cutscenes) even in a shortform capacity. At this point anything being done with P1 is very unlikely and it was a shock we even had a Kindle release of the manga this year as that is the most they've ever done for P1 in years outside of anniversary promotional merchandise. |
