There already were multiples opportunities to announce a Remake that would play with the popularity of the work, but the closer they did to that is the OVAs, with Takatau Tsubasa for the 20th Anniversary, and the 3 from 2011 for the last few Volumes. There was not even events for the 30th and 35th Anniversary, so unless we bank on a huge announcement in 2028, we can say that Kodansha moved on. |

| I would be happy if Dark Horse announced a hardcover omnibus for the 30th anniversary. However, since they never finished the first one, I doubt they will. 😔 |
