Winter 2025 Clash of Unsupported Shows - Nihon e Youkoso Elf-san. vs Okinawa de Suki ni Natta Ko ga Hougen Sugite Tsurasugiru - Match 2

One of the most pleasant anime to watch this season (it's a top 5 anime for me this season). It's both an isekai and a reverse isekai, as he can go to the other world, and he can also bring others back with him to the real world. It's actually the storyline in Japan that's much more interesting however, as the reactions of Mary (Elf maiden) and later of Wrindra (Ancient Dragon) are so fun to watch.

It feels refreshing to get reverse isekai once in a while, that is not being an awful experience like another elf show from few seasons ago. The idea of travelling between worlds using dreams and introducing characters from other world to Japan is neat enough to be enjoyable.

This is another fun anime this season, specifically as the characters are all pretty interesting, especially Kana Higa who's a top 3 character in AG's PRC Character class. The animation style is a bit different, not surprising since it's by Millepensee, but I consider it one of their hits rather than one of their misses.

I'm actually surprised its even eligible for clash, as its one of the best shows this season. Not only the comedy here is one of the best in recent seasons, but it has a big educational factor as well, a lot of trivias are interesting and enhance the experience. What surprised me that despite it being pure episodic comedy show, characters are still being developed decently.

One of the most fascinating shows of the season. While it is a very cute show with fun characters and fun comedy, the heart of the show is its setting. I find the differences between Okinawa and Mainland Japan very interesting. Multiple times it has sent me on research rabbit holes due to things mentioned in the series. A perfect series for someone interested in learning about cultural difference found within the same nation. Oh, and it has one of the best female MCs of the season in Kana.

Vibrant, educational and good fun. Also best girl Kana Higa.
