| This is the most shocked I've been this season. I absolutely did not think there would be another one, for some reason. I wonder Kinoko Inu is an alien. The last scene was eerie, with the playground slide that looked like a spaceship and music that sounded like the theremin. |
| At the end of the fourth episode, when Kinokoinu started spreading its spores at night, there was a brief shot of Anzu sitting on a bench while holding a fully grown Plum so I'm assuming that the two dogs are real siblings instead of being some sort of parent and child pair. |
| Wow new mushroom dog. And it's his brother. The existence of kinoku inu is very puzzling. |
| Hotaru cooking for everyone...it's defintely a bit weird, but to Kinokoinu, it's bland as heck. He might as well get a recipe book for that... The middle school girl of Anzu Uehara bumping onto Hotaru, and coincidentally seeing him and Kinokoinu, there's just no way to avoid seeing it for herself. And once she does, her making heaps of flower garlands for Kinokoinu, he sure likes it to a degree. But to have both Komako and Yayu witness what's going on, she's just clueless of who he is, and only cares about the mushroom pup and it making takoyaki. In the end, the beef and potato stew were all prepared by Anzu, and Kinokoinu givng back to her by takoyaki, it's sincerity from the unexpected visitor. And what sincerity it is...to kidnap Kinokoinu discreetly for it to know a fellow friend, which Yayu got the point half and half. Someone just like Kinoko Inu...who exactly is the other mushroom pup? |
