| Before beginning any given anime, do you consider it a requirement for your selection choice for it to be one recommended or pre-approved by a YouTube influencer? Or an individual or group of elitists who are the determiners of a certain subset or niche of anime culture and considered self-appointed guardians of its high art? Wondering how many out there feel downright compelled to adhere to this process since I've heard of it being a thing. |

| No, i look for the ecchi tag and see some screencaps if the nudity is there and then i watch. |
| i dont really care i just watch whatever in front of me.. sometimes i do look at the scores of the animes if its above 6 then its a okey for me |

| So pretty much I chose what to watch before the season starts 1. Ptw any ecchi (pretty rare nowadays) 2. Ptw any series with an interesting concept that sources from a manga 3. Ptw any sequel of a season I like. I have 0 faith in critics and mal scores to accurately represent my taste. After the anime season starts I may pick up a series if it seems interesting. I picked up dandandan since I seen the ecchi alien scene, and was interested by it. Meme culture and hentai can market anime to me too. |
