Just so I don't have to keep deleting links...

Go to sumotorrent.com
enter search string "Battle Royal High School" (without quotes)
download torrent

There might be a DDL somewhere, but meh too lazy right now.

I've seen that particular torrent before. Problem is, it's slow as hell, and if I recall correctly, lacked English subs after I downloaded it. Just because something comes up on a basic torrent search doesn't mean it's the end of the story.

That would be nice, but it's not necessary. And considering it's a 50 minute OVA, something smaller than 1.4 GB (what the fuck?) would also be preferable, too.

Believe me; I've tried quite a few searches on various rapidshare and torrent sites, and except for a few crappy links, couldn't find anything.

Here is the million dollar question for you...
Does the torrent use English or Japanese Audio? I've watched a couple of anime movies that were in .avi form and they all used English audio.

The problem with your request is that there seems to be only 1 subbing group who picked up this series. AnimeSkyScraper is now a defunct subbing group for around 4 years now. I checked their IRC channel and it's also dead. They seemed to have only hosted torrents on their own tracker, so I couldn't find any of their torrents.

I managed to find something here. It seems to be based on forum registration and requests, so have fun experimenting with it.

If its not there, then I leave this to the other members =P

I have a bit of foreboding that a torrent I'm waiting on will never find seeders.

I'm looking for an anime called Eight Clouds Rising aka Yakumo Tatsu. The torrent I'm currently using was found at torrentportal with a size of 699mb. The info there said 3 seeds with 5 leechers, but that checks on the tracker have failed recently lol. The torrent has been stuck at 56% for quite a while and while the promised 5 leechers are present, there's no sign of seeds.

I'm looking for possible ddl's of this series. Known subs are from the groups AMedia(AnimeMedia), ASS(AnimeSkyScraper), and Anime-MX.

Well my usual sources are coming up dry when searching for your stuff. Though I did manage to find it in e-mule, but there is no complete source for episode 1. Still looking for them, but I suggest you get e-mule and download episode 2 from there until something better pops along...

I'll PM you the ed2k links

*edit
-Managed to find a stream for episode 2 (no love for episode 1)
-Managed to find DDLs but all are in Spanish so far (Shuten Doji ring any bells?) xD

You were right about the incomplete ep 1, but so far emule hasn't found any sources for ep 2. I'll go for the spanish DDL's since raw is better than nothing. I'm far from fluent, but I can usually get by.

If it's still handy, could you also find a link for Shuten Doji ep 3 in spanish. The other ep 3 with eng subs is a corrupt download :/ I've found the ep4 spanish but can't seem to get a lock on the 3rd one.

This is the stream for episode 2 of yakumo tatsu (eng dubbed)

Still no love for episode one, but these have DDL's for 1-2 (i think spanish dubbed)

Episode 1 was subbed by m.3.3.w. If you go to the "releases" section of their website, and check the Edward k Tracker, you should find it there.

Thanks. I swear I went to all of the fansub groups that I knew had worked on it, but I guess I may have gave up after just checking Rozen....

I'm having issues finding the last half of The original Mobile Suit Gundam (Mobile Suit Gundam: 0079), with japanese language, english subs. All of the torrents are dead, and getfansub.com only has up to episode 24/43, for some reason...

Yeah grab the torrent at their website,
http://www.blitz-anime.com/

Or you can save yourself the hassle of torrenting and leech off of their bots, probably faster too.

Next time, go make a post on the comments section to bump up the club on 'x's club list.

No, unfortunately blitz didn't sub the series - they just host the english dub. It's pretty frustrating. :-\

Thanks for the attempt, though. Worst case scenario, it looks like the subbed versions are slowly being posted on getfasub/wiki. (2 more episodes were posted since I made this request), so I could always wait for that. It'll probably take months at this rate, though.

Any other suggestions?

Although... I'm not really familiar with ed2k. I'm using aMule to try and download them, but it's not really working. What is ed2k, exactly? Some kind of p2p protocol? Do they need to be seeded?

Well as long as the availability of the file is at least 1, then you'll be able to download it. The downside is that since it is a queue based system, it might take you from somewhere around days to months to actually download something. Though if you are lucky, the file might be well seeded and they aren't uploading to anyone else, thus you can download right away at varying speeds.

If you are lucky, you might download need your downstream cap. If the file is just another regularly seeded file, you might see download speeds of around 2-20KBps.

Alas, this appears to be my case. With 20 different episodes waiting in cue, none of them have started yet. :-\

I did find a torrent that is somewhat alive, at least. If all goes well, it will finish in 11 days. DX

Sure they aren't dual-audio? Most DVD-rip groups usually do one in either .OGM (if it is an old encode) or .MKV (which I guess is the current standard for anime encodes).

They are not dual audio.

For some reason, when bandai licensed the series, sunrise refused to give them the original japanese audio track. So there are no "official" subs of the series, and therefore no DVD's with dual audio. Pretty lame.

For Saiunkokuk Monogatari, have a look on Mininova. Search for it, then filter by size, and it should be the link at the top. It's been subbed by three different groups, but the subs are generally good.

That technically doesn't make sense since a 'stream' is basically a smaller download of the actual file, assuming they transcoded it. So the stream just seems faster just because it is usually smaller than the original file.

Well whatever, gundam.eu is the place to go if you want to download it. Episodes themselves are fairly small (between 30-60MB). So unless you have dial-up, it really shouldn't take that long.

I know that the company that makes Soul Eater has given a warrant to all fan subbers, but apparently, there are still some subbers out there whom continue subbing Soul Eater. I've looked everywhere, but can't find any subbed episodes. Please help me.

It is highly frustrating when an anime has 50 some episodes (as well as an animated movie), when other works by the same mangaka are subbed, including the sequel, and it is untouched. Does anyone know of Gokinjo Monogatari being subbed to English? I enjoyed the manga, its sequel (both anime & manga) and Nana (anime & manga) & would like to continue my pleasures...

http://www.animesuki.com/series.php/772.html

Joint-group effort by IY4Ever and OpenSea Fansub, but OpenSea has it listed as 'dropped' on their site and IY has it under 'current projects' with the last update on their site at around August of 2008.

So long story short, probably a stalled and/or dropped project. Only 6 episodes subbed so far so enjoy?
