| Glad Aki's calmed down a lot. Jack's becoming a real bro. He helped Yusei in his own way, and it's good to see them kinda smiling again. I liked the twins' little heart-to-heart. Rua's a lot more thoughtful than we think behind his cheery exterior. This is all being set up for some tragic showdown between Jack and Carly. I can feel it. Interesting duel with Crow. Jeagar is a better duelist than I thought he'd be. |

| I thought it was funny that a Duelist Base calculator was shown at the beginning. It's such a small promotional tie-in but it's still amusing to see the animators add something like that into the show. Yeager vs Crow was fun because for once Crow seems to be struggling unlike in his two previous duels, plus Yeager's deck is actually kinda playable and can easily shut down Crow's strategies. |
| It's kind of disappointed that all the adults are sorta brooding, and Luna is trying to help build the group's strength. If nothing else, I certainly think "sparring" among the group would be good. Especially since it still seems like no one is going out of their way to find new cards. Yeager is shady and all. But, well, you gotta appreciate a good lockdown deck. |
