 The official website for the television anime adaptation of Shinogi Kazanami's The New Gate light novel revealed on Thursday three additional cast and a promotional video. The anime is scheduled to premiere in April 2024 on Tokyo MX, MBS, and BS11.Cast Wilhelm Avis: Shunya Hiruma (3D Kanojo: Real Girl) Millie: Akiho Suzumoto (Yumemiru Danshi wa Genjitsushugisha) Rashia Luzel: Kaori Ishihara (Oniichan wa Oshimai!) Sou (Dead Mount Death Play, Id:Invaded) is performing the opening theme "Sekai wo Yanuite." Miho Okazaki, who voices Yuzuha in the anime, performs the ending theme "Kanataboshi." Tamaki Nakatsu (Hyouken no Majutsushi ga Sekai wo Suberu episode director) helms the anime at Yokohama Animation Lab and Cloud Hearts. Hiroki Uchida (Shikkakumon no Saikyou Kenja) is handling the series composition and Itsuki Takemoto (Hyouken no Majutsushi ga Sekai wo Suberu sub-character design) is designing the characters. Tatsuhiko Saiki (Higeki no Genkyou to Naru Saikyou Gedou Last Boss Joou wa Tami no Tame ni Tsukushimasu.), Yuya Mori (Kemono Jihen), Misaki Tsuchida, and Tsukumi Tanaka are composing the music. Kazanami began penning the action fantasy light novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in 2013. AlphaPolis acquired the novel and published the first volume in December of the same year, featuring illustrations by Makai no Juumin. KeG (Gaikotsu Kishi-sama, Tadaima Isekai e Odekakechuu) was in charge of the illustrations for volumes ten and eleven, and Akira Banpai took over as the illustrator starting volume 12. The 22nd volume was released in November 2023. Yoshiyuki Miwa began drawing a manga adaptation in AlphaPolis Web Manga magazine in November 2014. The 13th volume went on sale in February 2023. | I hope the adaptation will get a better one. |
| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
