| Chapter 1: We're introduced to the sheltered girl named Resine. She plans to go to the boarding school which her mom also attended. But her servant warns her that she would not likely survived. There she meets her roommate, the beautiful but mischievous Simone who is rude to her. She is bullying Resine. How will Resine handle this? ___________________________________________ My commentary: Resine meets someone who is so unlike her. Coming from Marimite, Resine is like Yumi and Sachiko in one person: naive while being rich and sheltered. Simone is like Touko. Simone also has characteristics of a tsundere, though we all know that such archetype wasn't known when this was written. Perhaps Simone will eventually become endearing because Simone and Resine are expected to be the OTP. But the tragedy tag makes me worried. I see some people who read the entire thing crying. Could one of them die, either from illness or accident? Let's find out. |
