Considering it only covered the first light novel and the 9th one is coming in March there's plenty of material, the main issue would be that the 9th is going to be the final one. Combine that with the obvious budget constraints season 1 had and it's relatively low popularity, I don't expect another season unfortunately. I'd definitely watch if it did but I'd put it's chances really low.

one book for 12 episodes? damn. that is NOT standard, most 12ep. seasons need 3-4 books. if vol9 is the finale, that means this series of novels only took FOUR YEARS to publish 9 books? what tha hell? did the author have the ENTIRE series plotted out? the finale won't be published till March 2024... oh, that reminded me... vol8 was published... TWO DAYS BEFORE THE ANIME STARTED. uhmmm that isn't a coincidence. that fact makes me think this was a 12 and done, pump and dump, single season show made to promote the sales of the physical books and make everybody involved a profit. but i have been wrong on more than one occasion about this... so don't hold your breath, but don't lose hope. perhaps by the time vol9 comes out in a few months we'll hear about something. :)
just an ol school otaku enjoyin the life. don't sass me kiddies, i've been otaku probably since before you were born. leave me in peace and i won't bother you either.

Quite likely that the final scene is just how Volume 1 of the Light Novel ends, to make it clear that the story continues and say "buy the book to see how it continues".

I don't think a season two is possible since it isn't popular, at least not so soon. I have read one of their Twitter posts and the staff/cast will hold an event on 10th February - we might have more info regarding the anime so let's see.

@WestOnAndrewAve How the fuck was all of that only from a single light novel? Did the anime add filler or is that actually an entire book's worth of content?

My biggest regret: Reading all 200+ chapters of Kanojo, Okarishimasu

People complaining that 12 episodes on a single novel i give the studio credit for not rushing woe a studio that actualy deliver’s and not rushing thing’s?!? i’d say the series is getting negative feedback from people with over expectation this series was deliverd!

story was told they explained it and finnished it with a decent cliffhanger. that is what shit is about!

The anime followed quite faithfully the LN without cutting much contents. The only filler they added (which I hate) is in the infamous episode 9. Actually I am not sure if I should call it a "filler", but that fight scene wasn't quite like that in the LN. Naut was actually quite powerful and he basically one-hit killed everyone LOL The anime prolonged the fight a lot by repeating static frames, which a lot of people complained about it being dragged on and silly.

I'm okay with it only having 1 season. The main draw in the show for me was the questions around the Ythema and the world building. It was all answered in the final episode.
