| Earlier today, MyAnimeList surpassed its 50,000th user! I'm extremely proud of this fact, as not even one year ago (06/2007), we hit 5,000 users. And, one year before that, we only had 200 users (04/2006). Quite a milestone! I hope everyone is enjoying their time spent on MAL and that you all continue to help us grow. Thanks for sticking around! Now we just need to get a MAL party started... |

| Do you have stats on user frequency and stuff? How many of those 50,000 use the site weekly/daily etc? I'm guessing there's at -least- hundreds, if not a few thousand who just signed up and haven't come back since. Not trying to cast a downer, but I'm genuinely curious about all forms of usage stats and user behaviour. |

About 40% of our users actively sign in to their accounts too, over a two week period. |

| I mentioned the fact a few times on the channel, and I looking forward to take a screenshot with 50000 users, but I only managed to get 49997 and 50002 =p I was too busy finishing Planetes lol I've been plotting the number of users every day on a graph. It is still very new, with about 10 points, but when a nice amount of time goes by I'll interpolate some functions to see where MAL is headed =D Anyway, congratulations MAL! Exponential growth ftw! |
