| A simple but sweet episode overall. It's nice to see how much is going on conceptually with the idea of robots and their existence. The fact Atom is explicitly a child allows for so much more to be done, and this episode may be the best encapsulation of that idea so far. Also, I find it quite interesting how Atom really has abandoned Dr. Tenma as his father. He's even completely abandoned Tobio as a name. Perhaps there's more to this yet to be revealed, but it's the number one thing in the back of my mind watching this. |
