i enjoy watching aot. its fun but i love the anime and the characters much that it feels painful when it ended. the anime ending and the sad ending are painful. my stomach feels uncomfortable, im losing appetite, i feel empty and sad. it affect my daily activities. this is suffering. i also love darling in the franxx and it also has sad ending but it didnt affect me because i didnt feel attached to the characters unlike aot.

I felt the same right after finishing it yesterday, for the next 12 hours everything I could think of was just AoT, had a dream about AoT and woke up to the thought of AoT. But it's slowly getting better, I feel more happy than sad— that boy found eternal rest. He's, in a way, finally free. 🕊️

This dude is fucking melodramatic. If a anime is messing with your appetite or your daily life, seek help smh. I understand feeling sad or empty when something you loved is over but everything has to end sadly. Go rewatch it down the road it's not going anywhere

Yeah, everything that has the beginning has to reach its end eventually. Anime is not different. But hey, there are also other shows you might find as entertaining. Same goes with activities completely different to watching anime. No need to be overly upset because of any series, be it animated or not, when the emotion of sadness is leading to negative consequences such as those that were mentioned in the original post.

Same, honestly. I would’ve preferred never watching last season 3. This whole Eren becomes a genocidal incel and Mikasa never actually has any agency of her own and becomes and independent strong female character and Erwin basically died believing in a bright future meanwhile the whole f***ing time everything he did never mattered cuz Titan powers OP pls nerf…I feel like such a tool. I started this in High School. It made me cry, freaking ball tears sometimes. I loved them so much…I can’t even stand any of the characters anymore.
